Absent since 2003, V-Rally is hitting the road once again!

Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn Racing Games today announced their collaboration on the return of the off-road simulation. Developed by Kylotonn Racing Games, a French studio specializing in racing simulations such as WRC 7 and TT Isle of Man, V-Rally 4 invites players to experience the extreme sensations of the most insane races.

For the occasion, a new trailer was released:

The title is now making its big comeback with more than 50 models of emblematic rallying and extreme motorsports vehicles. Nostalgic players can collect, upgrade, customize, and master the favorite cars, three of which can be seen in today's trailer - a Porsche 911 Safari, a Ford Mustang and a Ford Fiesta RS RX.

V-Rally 4 features:

- Rally: From Africa to Sequoia Park and Japan, travel the world along difficult tracks and in extreme conditions, such as snow, ice, and mud.
- Extreme-Khana: You'll have to be a master of precision and drifting on these tracks full of pitfalls.
- V-Rally Cross: Leave your opponents in the dust on these dirt and asphalt tracks and take on 7 expert adversaries.
- Buggy: Hop into your all-terrain vehicle to win the race on these particularly rugged tracks. Not for the faint of heart!
- Hillclimb: Race to the top behind the wheel of powerful cars.
You can also prove yourself in V-Rally 4's Online and Career modes.

V-Rally 4 will be available September 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

V rally one was on n64 and v rally 3 was on GC.

And this will fail miserably. Everything what Big Ben touches is doomed. The hardware sucks (they sold not properly working 3rd party controllers/memory cards/charging devices/etc) and I dont know any game that was not half ass or not extremly buggy from them. It's a shame. I had V-Rally for GBC and I liked it pretty much despite hating racing games when I was younger.

Hell yeah.

I see that Switch has nice adventure games a few good FPS, but no racing games at all... The one coming if from android that I already can play with high graphics on my Nvidia Shield tablet and for free, I mean Gear Club...

The latest WRC would also be cool on the Switch, it finally got kinda good though Dirt Rally is the unbeatable rally racing game ever made.


However I think Nintendo needs is something like GT and Forza.

I never cared for PSPs and never got one, but if they made a proper GT for the dead Vita I would probably buy a used console.

I have Gear Club and the game has potential. The devs should make a sequel and go all out. Maybe they can fight their way to being the top tier racer for Nintendo. Personally I would LOVE to have Asphalt on Switch but the chances are slim. Right now the Switch really needs a realistic racing game with online multiplayer.
