Gaming MK8D want an update what can I do ?

Hello today I wanna play MK8D with a friend and in local mode it says update
So we delete the data update of the game to be sure to play in the same version and now MK8D want I update the game, I cant boot it without update
What can I do ? Im on 3.0.0 and I dont want to update ...

The only ways if there isnt a possibility to play can be a share game update and update my switch in 4.1.0

You shouldn't have deleted the update, even formatting the console won't let you play MK8D again. And there's no way to update the game without updating the console.

That might work, if you know someone who has the same update you had or a newer version.
Is that feature even available yet though? I wasn't aware of it.

Until we get cartridges with 4.1.0 update included, you're out of luck. But, even with that, maybe nintendo had put a better online checker on switch which may force you to update to 5.0.0.

I believe that in order to play in local mode, nintendo had put an online checker, so, even for local play, you'll have to update to latest avaliable update (which is 5.0.0 as of 13/March/2018).

Yes my friend delete MK8D update but can play (game update is possibly tell the the switch)

So, seeing this scenario, 4.1.0 online permission didn't get revoked due to it not being publically hacked yet.

As i wrote here, your best chance is get a game cartridge which comes with 4.1.0 in it.

on the cartbridge, on the link that you give me there is differente cartbridge like botw with 1.0.0 version for 000 and 3.0.1 or above for 001, and the same for MK8D

And even it says 4.0.1 and not 4.1.0. Since i don't have a switch yet, idk if those two updates are the same or not.

So, may work with you or not.

Just update your console. Staying on on lower firmwares isn't worth it if you want to play a game that won't start if you're outdated.

You must buy this game in a nintendo store then, since the chances of getting this v2 of BOTW is better.
