RealTech VR will be remastering the first three Tomb Raider games and releasing them on Steam, according to a comment made by the company. RealTech VR is the team who remastered the games for mobile versions of 1 and 2, which will also be the basis for the PC remasters. They'll also feature a brand new 3D engine, and will offer OpenVR support for headsets. If you own the DOS versions of Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3 on Steam, the remasters will be free when they release. This news follows the recent confirmation that a new Tomb Raider game is in development, and the upcoming release of a new Tomb Raider film.

controller support will also be added, so there has to be some kind of control upgrade at least but the grid system is probably still needed

what he means is tomb rader games on ps1 aged very badly same for their pc counterparts only from angel of darkness and up is when we got decent controls, the control scheme was atrocious for the first 5 tombraider games i gave up on them srs a 3d platformer with worse than tank controls.

I never had any luck with Tomb Raider games until Crystal Dynamics came into the picture. I had Tomb Raider 2 and Chronicles on PS1. On TR2, I was never able to figure out what to do in the first area. I ran around that damn mansion and garden maze and never could figure out how to progress. I did manage to lock the butler in the freezer, so I felt like that was an accomplishment. On Chronicles, I could never successfully complete one of the jumps in the tutorial because of the horrible camera angle and controls.
