Based on the compatibility list, this drive will very likely work just fine. You will need format it as FAT32, preferably with 32K or 64K clusters.

Yea I was just on there before I posted here and the compatibility list says "|- | WD Western Digital My Passport (WDBYNN0010BBL-WESN | Not Tested | class="ct-noresult" | Not Testred | class="ct-works" | Works | class="ct-noresult" | No issues so far with this USB 3.0 HD purchased in the US at Best Buy in April 2017. Formatted the drive on a Mac to FAT32, using Nintendont and USB Loader GX so far. Untested with Wii so far. | 1 | {{{7}}}" What made me question it was when it said "Untested with Wii so far." So it confused me a bit, how can it says "works" yet it was never tested on a Wii? Am I reading something wrong?

I could only guess what that user meant, but regardless, the drive is very likely to work.

Yea same here. Just to triple check, all backup games will be playable using this correct? Also will it be fine even though there is no wall power supply to supply it wall outlet power? I know that some HDD's when not receiving enough power supply wall voltage will give issues in USB Loader GX.. so I assume the usb ports will supply sufficient power? (Sorry for all the questions) Last question, will I have to do delete any hidden partitions using some program? (Same with disabling sleep mode) If so, what program would I use? Thanks again with everything!

You can use EaseUS Partition Manager to format the drive and delete any hidden partitions.

You're unlikely to have power supply issues unless you're using a Wii U. If you do have power issues, a cheap Y cable should solve your problem.

Ah ok! Well, that seems simple enough! Thanks :) For this drive in specific would I do 32K or 64K clusters in your opinion? Not sure what the difference would be.
