Super Smash Bros coming to Switch 2018

noFixed that for you.
no
i need to steal, if i ever win a switch in any gbatemp contest, it would be bad because the person who sent would have to pay huge taxes to send it to my country
is this a WIIU's porting with additional characters added for switch, or is it a brand new Smash bros?
It's brand new, here are the reasons:
- New logo/font
- Official name is pending
- Only HAL Labs is involved, no teaming up with other third parties

It's just as well it's not a port
That does not rule out the possibility of a rebranded game, like Splatoon 2 is.
We know they will use the same assets for a lot of things. It all now depends whether it's gonna be Smash 4.5 or Smash 5.
If it was a full brand new game from scratch, they would have said clearly Super Smash Smash 5 (temporary title).
I pray that this is Smash 4.5 so we keep all the good stuff that's already there and only get more good stuff from there.
In the trailer, I am 99% sure that the Link "shadow" was BoTW LinkIt's brand new, here are the reasons:

I hope it's not another sodding port, we have enough as it is.
We know it's already not a 1:1 for sure.
But merge 3ds content (including smash run) + wii u content + switch exclusive content (characters, stage, modes) how is that not better than Smash 5 which could not come with the same quantity of content without dlcs anyway?
Or the fact you can briefly see BOTW Link in the trailer *shrug*. Adding more characters wouldn't hurt.
I think we're just disagreeing on the definition of port.
A port + expansion associated to it is still a port in my mind, but in this case is better than a brand new game from scratch.
A port without anything new (or just skins like they're selling us with hyrule warriors even though they could add a full botw expansion) is lame, however.
If you take how they're doing it with say... league of legends (not talking about the quality of the game, which is crap), they keep the same game and keep improving it (not really lol is still crap ). We could imagine a Smash Core experience getting contineously upgraded, with dlc stages and characters being bought and added to your smash vault. Any new iteration of the game would keep the old content (stage, chars, music).
And if they have balancing issues, they could great "legacy" roster or else.
Or we could just wait and see before assuming what it is?
Okay. That statement applies to the both of us then.
And I don't see what's wrong with speculating about it.
