Can't believe. It's an external drive and now it's K: drive. How do I restart Wii U USB Helper to ask me for the place to store downloads? Everytime I enter I get this error and can't go to settings.
You can clear the application settings by closing the app and then removing the directory %localappdata%/Hikari06

I did just that and then I entered the app, chose the region and it asked me the location to save the downloads. I entered the location of my external drive as usual but got the same error

Is there any registry or something I must clear because it keeps assuming the same drive g: even when I choose a completely different one!

I managed to make it work again, but the only solution I found was to change the drive letter from K: to G: with disk management.

Thanks for the help

I just sent an email to you with the dump file from the program. The error I get is "Wii U USB Helper has stopped working". I am still unsure as to why the program crashes on my desktop. My laptop that is running on Windows 10 64bit does not have this issue. I am able to get the program to run on an emulated version of Windows 10 (an older version, I think 1703) and I have experienced no crashes on it.

Thank you for the dump file.
Unfortunately the exception is not very specific and I'm not therefore certain of what is causing the issue.
To cover as much ground as possible, can you please do the following?

->Install the latest version of .NET https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56115
->Update your video drivers
->Disable the Windows Presentation Foundation Font cache service (Type Win+R then services.msc, find the service, right click->Properties->Startup Type=Disabled.)
->Reboot the computer

Hello guys

İ have error install , confirm wup files. Error yo wiiu wup install what do i do ?
Use the "copy to SD" button or remove any special characters manually in the path of your games on the sd card

Hello,

I enjoy so much the ability of Wii U USB Helper to enable me to keep my game discs safely stored while accessing my library conveniently. Thanks Hikari06 and anyone else involved! I hope this forum is still being read by some peeps in the know...

When trying to use the Injection Tool I have frequently (but not always) run into errors like the two images I took a screen shot of below. I don't understand this error even on a basic level. Certainly I am injecting ISO files (not WBFS) and I think I ripped files of good integrity from my game discs.

Thanks for any insight!!!

For 3ds games on a 3ds do I just need to select the pack to cia option? Once the games are in cia format can the games in the install folder just be deleted? Thanks in advance for your help

These messages seem to indicate that one external tool used by the application (wit) didn't execute properly.
When you say you don't always have the error, do you mean it sometimes shows up with one game but works after with the same game or that some games work fine while others don't work at all?

Yes you can also use "the copy to sd" button which will pack them as well.
You can then delete the games from the the directory once the installation is complete.

I'm sorry for being such a noob. I copied everything and packed to cia. So my sd card has cia files and also an install folder with games in it as well as tik. do I need the install folder or just the cia files? Thank you in advance!

Thanks! I was incorrect. I thought I had successfully injected 1 GameCube game. However, revisiting my files I see that was incorrect. SO the tool has not successfully injected any titles.

I have uninstalled the program once or twice and reinstalled from a fresh Updater installer download. I have the program installed in a file on my second hard drive and to uninstall I simply deleted all files in the install folder (but not in the file for downloaded titles). When reinstalling Wii U USB Helper, I again installed it to the same folder (at that point an empty folder) and redirected it download files to the same folder as before. This seemed ideal as the program continued to recognize what games had already been downloaded, but I wonder if that is related to this problem.

Guidance appreciated. I do hope to be able to inject these titles at some point. I am a noob here with moderate to slightly advanced computer skills. Thanks for your help and this awesome app.

Obviously I'm an ultimate noob posting on this forum if I can't even properly use the Quote functionality... ;)

Hi Hikari06, just a little bug report: seems like the reordering by size is not working in the Library tabl, if you click on "Size" column, Compact View checked.

Hey. I just tried this and WiiU titles works like they should, but 3DS titles can't be downloaded for some reason.
The log says:
1: Downloading TMD...
2: ERROR : TMD not found
and then it retries endlessly.
I know the game is on eShop.
Also, there's a red square on all 3DS games in the Wii U USB Helper game list, and the WiiU games have a blue square. Don't know if that means anything though...

Did you enter the 3DS Key Site in the WiiU USB Helper settings?

I can also confirm the application is crashing when I select "start downloading".
Go to Advanced Settings->Miscellaneous->Disable the Speed Graph

The red square just means the games are for 3DS (blue is for WiiU)
Does this happen on all or just one game?
Make sure the application is authorized in both your firewall and antivirus.
