How to Use Final Burn Alpha with HBL for Beginners.

First grab the http://files.mydedibox.fr/files/Dev/nx/pfba_00.nro

Then move the file to the switch folder on your SD Card , Launch the Nro it will build some Folders then go inside the PFBA Folder and create the Folder with the name roms

insert all the games as zip file inside the roms folder and simply restart the application and have fun.

Neo Geo etc will need a special bios which can be found online aswell (and needs to be inside the roms folder too)

You could already get sound if you just got the FBAlpha core to work, it shouldn't be hard to get to work.

I do agree that we need to have SD card/internal storage support in RetroArch soon, so that we can actually make an official release. Squashfs is rather limiting right now and prevents us from doing an official release. Hopefully misson2000 who did the port so far manages to do it.

you guys should simply try to build it from scratch and use missons gfx drivers , building on devkit64 will give us threading also jit support.

Couldn't you build it with libnx?

another good thing about libnx would be the threading support also to add jit.

@Natehaxx Great work buddy!
I have a few questions though.
Is it possible to reconfigure controls? I have found the joypad options but nothing is changeable in there, do I need to edit the config file?

you wont be able to change it on the libtransistor version its hardcoded i think , you will have to wait for the one which comes with sd card support

greetings, i really like the look of some of the games of this system.

but I'm fairly new to it, is fba an arcade machine?

(and please could someone tell me what the roms for this machine are called?) i did a google search and found mame? mame2kxx/2kxx and atari/3do etc.

are all of those compatible with fba?

I'm not sure if this version does, but FBA does support Snes/Megadrive/MSX/Game Gear/TG-16/Coleco/PCE/SG1000/Master System games too ;)
Also the correct FBA Romset you need is 0.2.97.42..

This is the most confusing program I have ever used - I've put all the roms under the "roms" folder in the pfba folder, but none of them show up if I change it to "working". There's almost 0 documentation on how to set up this thing on the web too =/
