Sounds Good!

I don't know how to remove the update folder on the Wii-U as someone else mentioned. I haven't even got a custom firmware installed as it looked too difficult for me. So this LocalDNS tool is really handy for blocking Nintendo System updates.

I am using Wup Installer and a USB drive connected to the Wii-U etc. Not sure if I can update to 5.5.2 but its still on 5.5.1E currently.

Thanks
If the titles you installed are signed (aka you can run them directly without launching anything from the browser before) they should still work if you updated. But there is no benefit updating so why would you ? ;)

If you are on a low FW, is it possible to auto launch NNU-patcher on boot?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

What are the disadvantages of updating to 5.2.2 if you already have CFW?

Idk i'm not really into this CFW stuff, if you have the cold boot hax you should be able launch nnu patcher.
Updating to latest version will most probably break browser hax, you better ask on some wii u hacking thread

Yeah, but there's no reason to use browserhax if you have Haxchi/CBHC…

Hello, localdns work great on my 3ds and my WiiU, but not with my switch?
Is it normal?
Thank you.
It’s not designed for switch. Go to switch.hacks.guide and go to Get started, then Blocking Updates. It’ll tell you how - you have to input a special certain DNS.

So, let's get to the point: What's LocalDNS ?
It's a DNS "emulator" which you can configure to block wii u, switch, and other consoles updates. "

Ok, Thank you for the answer.
