Homebrew copying cartrage data to microsd card with homebrew

No, it isn't that easy, you need to mimic cartridge commands. You can't just shove a microSD inside a Switch cartridge and expect it to work.

It will probably be a while before piracy will be possible if that's what your asking, the Homebrew menu will NOT enable piracy. But a future backup loader might.

regardless, it is still piracy-ish.. since a digital version is also available for purchase on eShop. You paid for a physical cartridge not digital.. but that said, i'm still with you. Piracy or not, I want to create digital versions of my games in the future.

Eh, it is, and it isn't, you should know by now, that no one on this forum cares. But as @linuxares said, you will probably be able to use the "backup" loader to do this, so as I said before will probably be a while. (maybe not too long because we already have pretty much full access to the switch)

I see it like owning a legal certificate of say like a car. You can't copy the car's title and print it out for your other car and say they can both have titles because you paid for it. I wouldn't like paying $60 twice so I'm on your side. I'd still take a dump. ;D

As long as you don't update, anything the mod chip will be able to do will probably be able to be done with software (and if there is anti piracy in the future the software approach might even be better, depending on if nintendo has a way of differentiating between cart and the hardware mod)
