Hello,

Thanks for this great and useful collection of ISO and bootable mini OS. I have downloaded the latest version 17.10 and tried creating the bootable USB flash via Rufus 2.18, as usual i was warned about the filesystem for ISO and I chose NTFS to make it work. The BIOS was UEFI-CSM or legacy BIOS.

My laptop is running Windows 10 Pro x64. My problem is when I choose to boot thru MediCAT flash USB, it directly boots into Mini Windows 10 (although it boots fine and all apps are running inside Mini Windows 10). I was wondering or expecting it would give me a boot menu to select the OS or boot rescue CD I want to boot into. As I read the contents of "main_menu.cfg", I believe it should been done as well, however my USB flash always skips the boot selection menu.

I have tried creating USB flash multiple times with Rufus , dont know which options to tinker with, and the result is the same.

Can you please guide me how to get the boot selection menu working instead of directly booting in Mini Windows 10.

Thanks.

Your PC is set to boot via UEFI, and it needs to boot via CSM/Legacy to reach the menu, or it will boot right into Mini Windows 10

Isn't only the first entry in my screen shot from a PortableApps application while the remaining "infections" are off the Program directory for 64 bit applications outside of the Portable Apps folder?
Both folders contain PortableApps. Look at the directory structures, they're identical.
Any way you slice it, they're false positives.

Is a PortableApps since it is hung off PortableApps folder than I understand.

I however can not see why you say the following 3 entries are also PortableApps:

All of these 3 applications: hard Disk Sentinnel, XYPlorer and Macrorit Disk Scanner are all located in the normal Programs folder where a normal installation of a x64 apps are done.
Aren't Portable Apps always located in a subdirectory off of PortableApps folder?

Sorry just trying to understand why you are saying that all of these are PortableApps rather than 3 normally installed Windows application.

Well, those bottom 2 are some kind of keygens it seems. Anti-malware programs always flag keygens or any other kinds of cracks, even if they end up being safe. It's possible that the Hard Disk Sentinel is also a cracked version, and that's why it's showing up there.

Hi,
I'm trying to add a french language pack to your Mini windows 10, but i've got errors saying Error : 1306, Dism failed. No operation was performed.

It seems to be a version number problem, but i'm working with a WADK 1703.

If you have a solution for me...

...try this ? (it works for me)

Thanks that is what I was thinking was the reason why those 3 items were being flagged as well by Windows Defender on Windows10.

hello and thank you for this tool. I am having a problem since almost none of the hdd tools work. EasyRe essentials, Paragon, parted magic always get stuck while loading or send me straight to a grub4dos menu.
