The next world to join the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III will be Monsters Inc., as revealed by the latest trailer for the game today. Sora, Goofy, and Donald are shown as monsters, as they interact with the characters from the movie. The Toy Story world also gets a few seconds of screentime as well. A new vocal theme is also played through the video, titled "Don't Think Twice". Kingdom Hearts III is still slotted for a 2018 release, though it has no specific release date yet.

It looks like they've gone for the cinematic approach versus gameplay though.. lots of gimicks is what it looks like over refined pure gameplay but I really don't mind at this point.

I have seen very few people actually ask "why isn't (x) on the switch?" with any major game release.
Why people act like it is the norm is beyond me and it's rather toxic and unneeded.

Thanks for reminding me how EPIC the Japanese dub for Kingdom Hearts has always been, playing them dubbed too much lately made me forget all about how Sora isn't really a wuss like in the dub, but is a constant cool smartass! And the game looks incredible so far, too bad I don't have the console to play it when it comes out...;-;

PS: SuperButterBuns should be making a hour long video on this right about now...

That was the norm on 2017 when youtube or other social media was full of people raging at x game for not being on switch, even the own nintendo ones when they were launching on the 3ds

According to the last time the release "date" was announced, it was 2018(tm).

It was later said to be Q3/Q4 2018 (although unofficially), so probably around late September...

KH has never had a main or even side game on PC, so it's not coming on PC and it sure isn't coming on the Switch, as it would need so much dumbing down it would lose half it's awesomeness in the process...

Interestingly, the switch to Unreal Engine 4 that Square made means that Kingdom Hearts 3 could be easily ported to PC. Or Switch.

He never said it couldnt be ported, what he pointed out is that in order to do that, even if the thing supports ue4, it would need to be downgraded to hell if you peeps want it to run on the switch hardware.
