IQ tests only measure how good you are at taking IQ tests. I took a few when I was in my twenties and got between 118 and 136, probably would be lower now. On the Mensa website they had some tests for normal people and smart people, scored higher on the normal people one and lower on the smart people one. I guess that makes sense.

If you're doing those social media IQ tests i can save you some time. They're all completely bogus. Hell even "legit" IQ tests are mostly bogus.

God damn it, @dimmidice! You're a god damn genius! This is the most outstanding answer I have ever heard. You must have a goddamn I.Q. of 160. You are goddamn gifted.

No, I haven't. I do not spend more than 5 minutes on social media, unless I want to upload a video of my paintings or for testing purposes.
To be honest, the reason why I made this question was just for curiosity. As above you says, I do have problems with normal IQ tests, while I still can understand and study Maths and Quantum Physics/Mechanics and at the same time speak 4 languages.
The fact that I always get less than 100 on IQ tests made me wonder if that score was something common or not.
Now I see that many of you who answered my question are insanely above my IQ.
Does that means anything? No, of course not.

IQ is a bad meme and a way for fart-sniffers to feel better about themselves.
"Ha! My arbitrary number is bigger than yours! I am a Superior Being™!"

But in all seriousness, as others have said, it only measures one very narrow type of intelligence. I wouldn't even call it intelligence at that point. Just aptitude for a certain type of problem-solving. I've seen plenty of high-IQ people amount to nothing, and plenty of "dumb" people who went on to be successful. Attitude and work ethic is the real secret sauce d:

What is? I'd love to take a more accurate test if there's one.
An aptitude test in an area you're good at. There IS a general intelligence but it's not accurate to describe whether or not you're actually intelligent in a way society would see as being intelligent. (I hope I explained that well. I'm not good at explaining things :P )

Something interesting is that in a study people could actually differentiate between intelligent people and average based on their behavior, I don't remember in which test were based on, I think the iq is just a part of an individual that doesn't describe the success or others parts of the person as a whole, anyway I have an IQ of 113, slightly better than average, but it depends of the culture, education and income , it might explain why on average Latin American and black people score whorse that white people in U.S., it depends of country, but is just specialization on certain task, adaptability is something important to measure in a given culture

I have an IQ of 138 but have a very difficult time with socializing and simple tasks. That's why I don't consider IQ very accurate.
