Hacking What is the latest firmware on a brand new 3ds from a store?

I checked around but the last post i saw about this was from maybe last summer. I'm wanting to buy the galaxy but I'm hoping for one between 11-11.3; what are my chances?

With a galaxy 3DS, your odds of 11.3 are good. If you end up with an 11.4-11.6 3DS, you need only purchase a cheap $15 NDS flashcart compatible with ntrboot.

My response is that that image is outdated. I know other people who used the R4 GOLD Pro succesfully and I also talked to one of the devs behind the ntrboot flasher and he said that it was tested succesfully.

and look, R4 Gold PRO is now in the "Compatible" area, along with all other =>2014 r4isdhc.com models. And they also put "cheapest" next to them

I guess I'm just playing the wait and see game at a this point. If it does come with anything beyond 11.3 at least i can go way of flashcart. Thanks for the help, much appreciated!
