I have a switch on 3.0.1. And I would like to know on how to use Rainway on it. I already downloaded the streamer on my windows 10 pc. But how do i use it on my switch? I'm not so sure on how to connect to my pc games from there. Do you know if there are any tutorials online on youtube of the sort? Because I would like to try this out as soon as possible. So just let me know about that. And also, when is the homebrew launcher coming for the switch? That's what I would like to know especially. Because I would like to play some Snes games on my Switch. So please let me know about the status of that. And also give me a tutorial on how to use Rainway on my switch. And also let me know about the Homebrew launcher. So thank you very much!

Rainway's still being developed for the Switch, and like the post above me said, it's unclear whether Nintendo will allow Rainway on Switch in the first place. As for homebrew, no one knows when it'll be ready, but given the pace at which the Switch has been hacked, I'd say expect something by the year's end.

Rainway does not work with the browser exploit quite yet, and as others have stated, Nintendo is still deciding on the native app.

For homebrew, you also have to realise that just having the hombrew launcher doesnt mean you can play snes games and the sort. That has to be developed seperately. And as the previous post states, no one really knows when that will happen. we can only guess.

Kind of a waste of making the app if they didn't get the green light first...

Guys stop assuming they won't let it on the system. It's baseless pessimism... There's no reason why they wouldn't... Just wait and see without making the shot that "it'll probably never happen on the switch"... it makes zero sense.

We just know that Nintendo isn't open-minded to suggestions, so surely you understand why we are this way.

Yep. ... And?

Not really. In fact they've been shown to be incredibly open-minded toward suggestions, especially in comparison to other companies. They're being far more open than Sony and Moneysoft in MANY ways, and they're actually listening to their fans about what content they'd like on the switch. And that's not even a new thing for them. They've been that way for a LONG time.

The fact that you think otherwise shows your ignorance toward the situation. And when you comment like that, it spreads, causing others to assume the same, which is exactly how this stupid train of thought began in the first place.

Fans have been demanding a local translation for Mother 3 for over a decade. We want mainline Pokemon games on the HOME consoles. People suggest cool shit to them ALL THE TIME, like a new Pokemon Snap for consoles that have the ability to use motion controls, like the 3DS, Wii U, and Switch. It took them until the Switch just to get region-free games, when we hated region lock way back on the GameCube and going forward. We want NDS players (Like Super Gameboy, Gameboy Player, etc) for our NDS (and maybe our 3DS) games to be playable on home consoles like Wii U or Switch, not as a VC download. They won't stop with the gimmicky controllers, but at least now we finally have Pro controllers as options. Bottom line is that Nintendo is still stubborn as all hell.

So because they don't go with every single thing fans request, that shows they're the way you've described them to be? You're so ignorant. They've listened SO many times and you're cherry-picking. In fact, Sony and Moneysoft are so much worse in that respect. Your logic is flawed and you're being biased and closed-minded. I'm so tired of this bullshit being spread around. Just... stop... You're super obnoxious.
