Still no answer from SciresM on whether it works up to 3.02

My guess is that he only tested this on 3.0 and jumped the gun by saying it works on 3.x.

He didn't have 3.01-3.02 consoles when he was testing kernelhax, and that was only 5 days ago
I came here to ask that same question.

Does 3.x include 3.0.2? Based on the statement it should, but I find that hard to believe and would like a specific answer just to be sure.

Do you have a source to confirm that?

3.x simply means all firmwares which includes "3" as the first version number xD

Now the question is: if we get the CFW, we could play all Switch games, even the games which requires newer firmware?

Came here after seeing this announcement from an unfortunate news source; Kotaku.

I won't link the article to avoid giving them clicks, but basically once they sound the alarm like that, Nintendo will probably notice and start devising counter-measures.

But an emunand updated to the last firmware doesn't trigger the efuses?

If it's possible to have a CFW that allows updating to latest, without blowing eFuses, it would be a breakthrough, allowing us to downgrade on any.
BUT I don't think it would matter CFW wise because you could still downgrade regardless of eFuses if it is CFW. OFW downgrade would POSSIBLY only be a one time thing if you do, no?

Kotaku and Polygon and anything related should probably just drink a glass of piss.

Nintendo can't do anything because there is nothing released yet.
So far only the devs know what the exploits are and that's why they are working on CFW.

Unless the exploits and documentation goes public, Nintendo has nothing to work on but words.

But they're the ones that know how their own machine works. They can just cross-reference their own documentation to what SciresM and his team found out, and patch it appropriately for future games. It's not that hard for a multi-billion-dollar corporation to play catch-up with a small team of amateur devs.

I mean, apologies for any fear-mongering you might take from this, but I'm just relaying a warning.
