I wouldn't have bought it for the Switch in the first place, but now that there's a random person that I can piss off by doing it, I'm quite tempted to do it.

I'm going to buy these games just to piss the OP and all other haters off. Nothing more cathartic than getting a game or doing something we're bitterly not told to do I think someone pissed in the OP's Cheerios this morning.

you can get dark souls and other 360 and ps3 ports for cheaper on those consoles and pc and the switch versions only have slight upgrade over the last gen versions.

It's not like that point escaped or anything, most of us have come to terms with it. As long as there's a decent amount of games coming out steadily (eg: 30-50 games per system per year), it's fine and getting remakes of games we didn't get a chance to play or that are considerably enhanced versions is nice. Also, if not too many games are coming out every year, then devs can focus on the quality rather than quality (even if many will turn the games to shit after some time *EA*)! Unless you want to not get remakes and for more and more games to be coming out all the time with unoriginal ideas... Last time that happened 35 years ago the entire game industry crumbled to nothing!

See, now HERE is valid input. Yes, I partly believe the same. I don't mind the philosophy of "if it ain't broke don't fix it".. Just wish we saw more original titles.
