Confirmed today by Nintendo, Dark Souls is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 25th:

The first title in the genre-defining action role-playing franchise is coming to Nintendo Switch. DARK SOULS: REMASTERED includes the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, as well as improved framerate and resolution from the original DARK SOULS game for an exhilarating return to Lordran.

Ds1 is a fast paced action rpg, i would rather sacrifice resolution to get the game runs at 60 fps on switch

Then spend 3x as much buying a laptop so you can get 1080 60, if even that, on a portable system. You're comparing 4k 60, which only a very powerful pc can do real 4k 60 on the remaster, to a portable system that costs 300 dollars, half the price of most high end phones.

Don't worry, I'll get ds1 remaster for all of my home consols and pc except for Switch, Nintendo 's last born wasn't designed for 3rd party titles.

I only read that it will have ps4 and pc release. So I'll preorder on pc, and probably grab it for free on ps4.

I'm really happy for nintendo right now, but the switch is just not for me.

WOW another OLD port from the last.... last generation, now i also know its getting a remaster for the PS4/XBX1...... but we all know the switch can only dream of running anything close to these, so it will likely be a beefed up PS3/360 port.

Again as mentioned (which the fans hate) nintendo always seem to get third party support by porting the titles it failed to offer first time round...... yea wow its portable, so fucking what, been there done that, it could suck my shlong while im on the shitter, yes its a good game.

I guess its great to be able to play these type of games they slated when nintendo wasnt getting them.

I bet all the games they slate now, come 7 years theyll be excited when nintendo finally gets it.

Thanks, but I already looked it up at the time of that post. Sony themselves must be pulling strings to have a $450 exclusive collection like this. Putting the Trilogy into such an expensive collection aside, they would make even more money from just releasing it for the USA.

It's because it's a Japanese exclusive, super "collectors" edition. You get the 3 games + DLC, soundtracks for each game, an item encyclopedia for each game, 10 art sheets plus a frame, and 2 book ends.
