Well this is good news because it shows that kernel access can happen on "any firmware" right now, and I'm sure a bunch of people, or at least some, will be working on a free solution (think Gateway, and then the others, using the same exploit).

Awwwww. Do you think it'll be a hardware thing? I can't see it being as such, given the Switch's size and everything else about it, but that's just a baseless assumption from me.

Here's to hoping...? I'm just worried about the amount of support this will get if they go the pay route.

Also, what about the keys though? Does that do anything, in terms of helping others "hack" the firmwares? I'm sure it had already been shown and the devs working on switch shit already know of it.
