Ah, a bit far. I'm in the UK. I've not seen any evidence that people are willing to pay more for an exploitable console yet. I obviously don't want to make a loss, but I'm ok selling it so that it covers my costs. If I put it on ebay I'd have to increase the price to cover the ebay fees, which is why I was just going to return it if I didn't need it.
Obviously if in the next few days there is a buying frenzy on ebay of 3x to 5x the price then I would reconsider.
It's happening already, two exploitable consoles for $800 and $750 respectively.

A douche move from the scalpers' part, to say the least, and it's only going to get worse as 3.0.0 consoles will get rarer and rarer, I'm afraid. No way in hell should anyone have to pay that much for a Switch, it only enables scalping. *sigh* Perhaps it'd be best for me to forget about that avenue and find something to sell to offset the costs, I don't expect the prices to get any better.
