So I kinda fucked up, I was watching this video () and following everything like I was supposed to, I messed up at 5:18 and instead of updating my system... I formatted it. I was very frustrated and wanted to redo the entire process so I wiped the sd card and put my sd card back into the 3ds. I turned it off in order to redo the entire process again but when I turned it back on I got a flashing blue light for about 1 second. I realized that I just removed the files needed to start the 3ds... I went online and searched what to do but nothing worked. I tried downloading 7.1 luma so that I could put the 3ds folder and arm9hax file back on the root of the card. But the 7.1 didn't have those files. So I then tried to download the 7.05 files and those did have the files :). I put them on my root but I still had the same issue as before. I feel really bad since this is an OG 3ds that I had owned since I was a young child, the first week of release :(. I really hope that someone (or some people) can help fix this issue for me. I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks very much

use 3ds.guide
those guides are outdated
it seems you need a file on the sd card
i think you need boot.firm on the root of the sd card

Yes my sd card is fat32, I attempted to put boot9strap file on my SD card and this time it actually booted, but it said that it was not the right version and told me to click a to shut down my 3ds

you need to update bootstrap or you are using an old luma3ds version
https://3ds.guide/updating-b9s use this and download luma 9.0
you can download luma 9.0 from here https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
if you get the same error you need to update bootstrap

YES!!! I added a random boot.firm I found on the internet. It did not launch but the 3ds told me that it is an unsupported launcher (argc = 0). I have 9.2.0-20u, I can not find the boot.firm on the website. Anywhere to find it? thanks
