  • I am using the R4 SDGC DUAL CORE
  • I'm using a NEW 3DS XL working on 11.6
  • I successfully flashed ntrboot for card
  • Here is my micro SD card contents (of the flash card)
  • flash.PNG
    flash.PNG
  • Here is my mico SD card contents (of my N3DS XL)
FLASH2.PNG

  • My Micro SD is a Lexar 4 GB (3DS)
  • My Flash Card was working before flashing and my slot is working perfectly fine.
  • I can successfully use the magnet to put the 3DS to sleep.
  • It appears that I can successfully boot into the mode I need to when I press Select+Start+X+Power, but nothing happens. It just remains on a black screen. When I let go of the buttons nothing happens
  • I have tried 2 magnets, one not so powerful and other was powerful enough.
  • The 3DS is not bricked, because I can still boot into the 3DS normally. I don't know if the Flash Card is bricked, its brand new.
  • I have had my content on the flash card while flashing, everything worked fine.
  • I accidentally deleted my DCIM folder in the memory card of the 3DS
  • Any ideas? Please help me.

If the console turns off when letting go of the buttons that means you are missing the file on your 3DS SD card, but ntrboot did work.
By the way the images all seem to be of the flashcart SD (which you don't need anymore).

Hello thank you for reply, nothing happens when i let go of the buttons. It doesnt turns off, now when i remove the magnet it takes me back to the Menu.

That means you didn't hold the buttons correctly (ntrboot didn't work). What did you do differently between when it powered off and when it didn't anymore?

Do things in this order:
Hold Start Select and X
Press power while still holding them
Wait 5 seconds while still holding them
Release them

I don't understand? Power button does work..

I did the steps you told and it just powers off.

What my problem is, I cannot enter SAFEB9SINSTALLER. Everything else is just working fine. When i hold the buttons and release it nothing happens.

Thank you.

If it powers off you're missing the file on the console's SD card. Make sure the SD card is formatted as FAT32. If it still doesn't work try another card (maybe the one you're using is dead).

As @Quantumcat said. You probably have your files on flashcard SD, but you need them on console SD.
Small recapitulation.
1. Put all necessary files on your console SD.
2. Hold X+START+SELECT+POWER and hold them until you see SafeB9SInstaller booted up.
3. Hack your system.
Also @Quantumcat , I think that you don't have to release the buttons, you can keep holding them and it will boot NTRBoot anyway (but you still have to release them afterwards :D ).

It might do, but each time I've done it, I've held it for a few seconds and then it comes up immediately on release.

Maybe that's how SafeB9SInstaller works. I always used Godmode9 which comes up instantly (does not matter if you stopped pressing the buttons).

Hello, thank you for reply..
I tried what you said but it wont still show up. But after holding X+START+SELECT+POWER for more then 5 seconds makes the Blue light to stop blinking and if i leave all of the combination now and remove the magnet then it just restarts.. :(
I don't know what is causing this i have all the files on both of my cards.

Maybe its the partition which is causing this, i will look into it.

Your 3DS is turned off, right?
Just make sure, your console's SD is fat3formatteded and you have safeb9sinstaller.firm (renamed to boot.firm) on root of your console's SD.

I will see if its as FAT32.

Quick question: Does 3DS supports NTFS as a normal working card?

Your 3DS cant find boot.firm on its SD. Just download the latest luma and put it in root of your console's SD (not flashcard SD). Don't forget to follow the guide.

Yes, it is possible. Just turn off setting -> internet -> spotpass -> sending information and never go online with an unreleased game or with non Nintendo app.
