Cyan could you please help me in this?

I also have the same problem, can show the Homebrew apps like 1/10 times, and when clicked they reboot. Cant get anything homebrew to work, like Retroarch (via forwarder channel OR homebrew channel).

I dont remember ever updating any software, but yeh, problems here... mainly loading stuff from SD card. :/ Will see if vwii still loads from sd card./

Edit: Yeah, loaded FCEUGX from Homebrew Channel on vWii and loaded into a game from SD AND USB fine

Are the installation and launching for Wii U 5.5.2 is the same as 5.5.1?
Installation? Yes. Launching? No. Assuming you don't have CFW, on 5.5.2 go to u.drg.li, and select 2 the first try. If it doesn't work, try all the numbers. You can read more about the HBL at wiiu.guide/homebrew-launcher

Nah I don’t have CFW ( I heard Haxchi can brick...) and thanks btw
Unless you mess with the SD:/haxchi folder when installing, there are absolutely no risks of installing standard Haxchi. CBHC can brick, but as long as you don't do anything stupid, you're also safe with that.

So, im trying to get Nintendont to work on my WiiU. I have a working SD card and have followed their instructions to the letter, and i also have the Homebrew channel on the SD card. I can boot the Homebrew channel using the Loadiine website, but when it launches it just gets the blue bubble background, which, from what I gather, means the SD card isn't mounting, but it doesn't seem to be the case, since clearly Hombrew channel is loading off my SD card, so I'm presuming there are no apps that the channel can read on my SD card. I guessing it might have something to do with either my forwarder or my WAD manager, but it just says to "install the forwarder using a WAD manager" i guess it just assumes I know how to even use a WAD manager for my WiiU, which I do not. When it comes to softmodding this is my first crack at it, so I'm hoping one of you will have a shred of insight on how to get this working, thanks in advance!

You are misunderstanding. You are trying to boot the HBL, or Homebrew Launcher. You want the HBC, or homebrew channel, which loads Wii homebrew from SD:/apps where the HBL loads from SD:/wiiu/apps
Nintendont is a Wii app, not Wii U. To load it, you will have to boot the HBC. You can do this with HBL2HBC. Download this file, and put it on your SD card as: SD:/wiiu/apps/hbl2hbc/hbl2hbc.elf
This will boot the HBC. From there, launch Nintendont.
You can also install the HBC to your vWii to easily access it. Go here.

Hey Everyone,

I have a question and wondering if anyone can help? I recently installed homebrew on my Wii U and set up cbhc with the Brain Age software that i legitimately purchased through the nintendo eShop. Shortly after this I uninstalled the coldboothaxchi to prevent any future bricking and have been running Mocha Custom Firmware everytime I turn on the Wii U and have been able to install games on a usb drive without problem. I recently installed a set of DS and GBA games and included the brain age game in the installation. Upon completion of installing it via the WUP installer GX2 the brain age icon replaced the homebrew channel icon and still functioned as homebrew. I then uninstalled brain age from the usb and the homebrew icon was back as usual but now I get the message "this software cannot be used. The nintendo network id used to purchase the software has been deleted. Looking for suggestions on how to get homebrew back up and working again, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for listening everyone.

why did you unlick your nnid? seems to me someone unlinked an nnid
My 5 year old son could have done something with the NNID. I don't know why i thought it would be a good idea to install the brain age game again from Wii U USB Helper cause I probably would have never played it anyway.

I will try your suggestion and keep you updated if it works, thanks so much for the quick reply!

I didn't use a fake one first fortunately! I legit purchased brain age and installed cbhc that way then I installed brain age back in using a fake title . . . I uninstalled cbhc so I am wondering if I just format my wii u and re download brain age and do the whole process again hopefully that might work, but first I will try to link my NNID and see if I can re download a legit purchased copy of brain age. Thanks again Pedro!

Delete the fake ticket then enter eShop and redownload your purchased title. Since you overwrote/deleted your Haxchi title, you'll need to use the web exploit to start homebrew (to run tik2sd and ftpiiu_everywhere), just like you did before you installed Haxchi.

Formatting your console doesn't remove the tickets, so don't bother with that.

Thanks Nexusmtz! Since I don't have homebrew anymore I was wondering how I was going to do that. What a wonderful community, my 5 year old will be jacked to have it up and running again. Thanks to everyone for helping out, I will update tonight or tomorrow on progress!

I followed all of the steps from the "delete the fake ticket" thread. I was able to locate the ticket using the keys.txt file. I opened up the ticket in HxD and removed the bad ticket which then brought the file size down to 696 bytes. Then I downloaded the correct FTPiieverywhere and added it to the sd card and brought up the homebrew channel via the web exploit. Once I accessed FTPiieverywhere the gamepad informed me that is was listening to my ip address xxx.xxx.x.x and then I used both filezilla and winscp to access storage_slc. Each and every time I attempted to get to
storage_slc/rights/tickets/apps I kept getting the error message "failed to retrieve directory listing" I worked through a number of workarounds like changing it from active to passive, etc. but was unable to continue as it was getting late. I will continue to work through this particular issue tonight but if anyone here has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks again for all of your help!
