Gaming Must play 3DS games before I make the "switch"

I'm planning to retire my 3DS soon and buy a Nintendo Switch. Before that, I want to make sure I've played all the gems of the 3DS.

So far I've played:

Super Mario 3D Land
Mario Kart
Fire Emblem Awakening
Fire Emblem Fates
Fire Emblem Birthright
Fire Emblem Revolution
Bravely Default
Ocarina of Time 3D
A Link Between Worlds
Kid Icarus
Phoenix Wright Trilogy (missed out the last few cases from the final game)

I tried to play:
Pokemon (just seemed way too easy, way too much gold red/blue/gold/silver.. but even easier)
Mario and Luigi dreams one (just a bit too boring)
Persona game (honestly loved Persona 3+4 but this one is painful)



Reflecting, I'm assuming the ones I should play are:

1. Virtue's Last reward (I played 999 and honestly didn't enjoy it.. the puzzles just bore me... has any of this changed?)
2. Majora's mask
3. The New Fire Emblem game


Am I missing anymore? I'm in no rush to buy a Switch if I have games on the 3DS I can still plough through although BOTW + Oddysessy are really tempting me.

Good point, its more that I want to get through games on my 3DS and Vita before buying one.

For example, I was playing Cold Steel 2 for the last 2 months so even if I'd bought a switch, i wouldn't have played it.

Therefore my reasoning is, if I still have great titles I can play on consoles I already own, I can wait on buying a Switch (by then hopefully the price will come down a bit).

luigi's mansion II is okay...the original is far better, but this one is good too

If 999's puzzles feel so easy then maybe you'll like VLR. It has easy and hard mode, easy mode the characters will provide more hint for player. And each room has an optional secret lock that has bonus contents (you must resolve the puzzle in a different way to unlock it).
And how about Monster Hunter series? You can play them on Switch though.

play Shin Megami Tensei 4 / Apocalypse. similar to persona games(just without the school part).

Bravely Second, the Metroid Remake, Majoras Mask, Story of Seasons and Ever Oasis are also games worth playing.

man, you are really missing out if thats the only thing you've played, there is the 2 resident evil games, super smash bros, star fox 64 3D, metroid samus returns, 80's overdrive (which just came out this week), alchemic dungeons, monster hunter 4U, river city rival showdown (which came out last month), etc.
i can really go on if you want me to

If you were switching to Vita, PS4, or PC, I'd recommend Danganronpa. I have heard that the creator of the series has expressed interest in the Switch, but whether or not it leads to anything is unknown.
Ontopic though, here's some games I recommend:
Monster Hunter Cross/Generations, Double Cross, 4 Ultimate, Stories
Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies (Since you played the first 3), Spirit of Justice
Majora's Mask 3D
Binding of Isaac Rebirth (Could get the Switch version instead, since it has Afterbirth+ DLC included)
Cave Story
Corpse Party
Animal Crossing New Leaf, Happy Home Designer
Star Fox 64 3D

Also- albw had some good words from players, i personally like triforce heroes (with friends only!)
Why didnt you play Bravely Second?
Retro city rampage is great, tho it will be soon on the switch
Same for shovel knight and Binding Of Isaac
Kid icarus- great action game which is overlooked for some reason sometimes
Starfox 64 is very short but fun (finished it in under 1 day the first time)
If you want some games from other plats- a link to the past and minish cap. Also gta chinatown wars from the ds.

Also please try not to be over hyped for the new zelda, you may not like it as it isnt a traditional zelda. Try to look at it more objectively

LOL actually the opposite. In 999 I felt like a total dumbass and was constantly googling solutions tot he problems. That totally detracted from the excellent story I didn't get to enjoy.

Very good point again, I think the solution might just be buying a Switch, playing the few titles, I'm interested on there and just switching between the three as needed (3Ds/Vita/Switch).
