The titles you have installed will be at the top of the list in Titles and you have to have the game installed to see it in that list...

Thank you so very kindly!

Yeah, I had the game uninstalled at the time when searching for this so that's why I couldn't find it.

I'm all good now and thank you again for the help. :)

Thank you for the pointer, but there are no firmware files available from the cart's site, only kernel files etc. The 3ds.guide doesn't indicate this, all it does is reflash the backup.bin provided, and on the cart's sdcard I have the latest kernels files from the manufaturer's site. is there a step I'm missing?
Yeah, I meant the kernel

Hello.

Around summer, I left the battery out of the 3DS to replace it with a new one. In that time, I have not touched absolutely anything on my 3DS nor my SD card other than leaving the battery out of the console (and obviously turned everything off). Before I did that, everything was normal, I had all my cias, FBI, HBL, custom themes, etc.

But just a few days ago, I bought a new battery, put it in the console, turned on the 3DS... just to see that almost all the content, including FBI, HBL, Cias, and custom themes were all gone (the theme reset to the default white one), the 3DS's clock also reset to 1/1/2011 0:00... with a few exceptions.

Even though almost all was gone, I still had Mario 3D Land and tomodachi life installed (my guess is because those are legit .cias), and besides I could still had access to the Luma configuration at boot, things like GodMode9 ore SafeBS9Installer and also the HBL using the Rosalina method.
At this point, I thought the problem was my SD card, so I put it on my PC, and it was totally fine, everything was there, including all the games I had downloaded (I knew it because of the file size). So at this point, I remembered that, when I turned on the 3DS after putting the battery, the lower screen pop-up a message saying "Creating HOME Menu Management information", so it's like the 3DS believes I put a new SD card on it, which is not true, I haven't changed absolutely anything.

So my question is if there's a way to restore all the stuff I had, or at least let the 3DS recognise all the things that I have in the 3DS? Let me know if you need more information.

I tried this https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-cfw-icons-gone.488755/ and this https://gbatemp.net/threads/cant-la...p-from-main-menu-suddenly-disappeared.477577/, but even though those are similar problems, it's still not exactly the same as mine.

So after looking at the options presented in the 3ds.guide, and looking at the R4i Gold 3DS Plus at nds-card, I see some contradictory information.

3ds.guide: Comes with an internal switch to switch between ntrboot and NDS modes. Do not manually flash with ntrboot.

NDS-Card: Does it come preinstalled with ntrboot Reply:no, other card R4I-B9S is pre-flashed ntrboot, you can choose it. nds-card.com

So which is it. 3ds guide says not to flash the card, but since it has a 3ds switch which is only for b9s, I would need to flash it if it doesn't have it.

The guide is coorect, nds-card wrong

If for some god forsaken reason NDS-Card is right, could I still flip the card to 3ds mode and flash ntrboot onto it? Failing that, I would assume the regular nds mode should still work to flash it with ntrboot, correct?
The 3ds mode is preflashed with ntrboot. That's the whole purpose of it. You should technically be able to flash ntrboot on ds mode, but there's no reason for that.

Hello everyone! I've tried to update my n3ds and this message shows up and I can't update it. What should I do?

Edit 1: Sorry, pictures were too big.

Edit 2: Got it. Apparently the problem was with the DNS config.

One question, I'm on luma8.1 and and after trying to to enter godmode to insert a save file for a GBA virtual console inserted game I don't see the "AGBSAVE options…" option when i select agbsave.bin. Any reason why?

EDIT!: the only options I see when i highlight the agbsave.bin file are Show in Hexeditor, Calculate SHA-256 and Copy to 0:/gm9/out

You could have got cfw much cheaper by following 3ds.guide

Yeah I know... but I do not want to softmod my 3DS.
What I understood from the Sky3DS+ or Stargate 3DS is that you leave no traces on the device.
And I hope that online checks are also not seeing that these cards are used. If that is the truth I really want to spend a little more money.

The risk is minuscule and even if you get banned you can unban yourself in five minutes. Not worth spending any money on a 3DS flashcart especially since it is so limited compared to CFW. But if you have loads of money to burn, it is up to you :-p
To put it in context many of us have Sky3DS carts and use CFW anyway. The number of people with Sky3DS carts and no CFW could be counted on one hand across all the forms.

I just got my son the New 3DS XL (Firmware version 11.6.0-39U)
I haven't looked into any of this stuff since I got an acekart for his original ds. It was simple back. Throw roms on an sd card and your good to go. Now it seems a bit more confusing. ntrboot, cia, fbi.. Not sure what all this is. I wanted to get this setup before xmas. I have 2 jobs and a newborn so I dont have days to go through everything. I know I cant just blow through it all. Some is really important, but where should I start to get the basics for now? I want to be able to play backups of 3ds and ds games. (with online)

There are so many flashcarts available. Ive seen R4i Gold 3DS RTS mentioned quite a few times and its a good price, but it only works with DS games? To me it looks like the only ones that work with 3DS are around $90 (eg SKY3DS) is this correct?
Cheapest solution is best.
