I just wanted to make this known; I have gotten a crash when throwing a PokeBall with a 100% catch patch. I am using a CIA of Nova Sun, as well as the no outlines, fast text, fast walk, pc anywhere, and quick hatch codes. I removed the code.ips and it worked.
Sorry for the late reply, but I just realized that when I try to use any type of ROMHack with luma3ds drag and drop, I get a black screen, which leads me to think that it's probably because I'm on luma3ds 8.1.1-f6483ec and can't downgrade back to 8.1.1.
What do you mean you "can't" downgrade back? Just put the 8.1.1 boot.firm on your SD card and CTRNAND.
I just did that, yet it still shows the beta version in the updater and I'm still getting a black screen.
Don't use the updater. What does it say on the Luma3DS config screen that pops up when you start the system while holding Select?
Then you're on the regular 8.1.1 and your problem is somewhere else. Try another SD card, I can't reproduce the issue on any of my systems.
I know you said you aren't sure when it will be done yet, but do you think you can give a very loose ETA? I'm just really hyped for this rom hack and am anxiously waiting. Appreciate the hard work dude, thanks.

You can't give any information whatsoever? Like a couple weeks or a month or 2 months? I'm going crazy looking back at this thread everyday.
@Dio Vento already said he does not give ETA's so stop asking really annoying, everyone is looking forward to the next rom hacks but you don't see me and most others asking.
out of curiosity, what are you doing with the ultra recon squad battles? I realize they're supposed to be weak, but I really like the idea of fighting a trainer with a full team of ultra beasts.
Trainer progress update. Note that completing all the Trainers doesn't mean I'll be done with the hack, I still have a lot of work to do, especially on Level-Up movesets. This graph shows completion of the design phase, not the implementation or testing phases.
It should be pretty easy to tell which data points represent altered battles here.

The text instructions should be sufficient, especially if you have a hacked 3DS already.
Just finished the hack! Had a lot of fun and challenge, but man you're such a dick for that double Furfrou battle lol. Can't wait for the USUM mods!
