I gave the legacy collection 1 to a friend since I already owned it. this was when I bought a humble bundle. I gave away all other games on psx place except for street fighter 5. :P

Battle Network was at least mention, so maybe will will get at least a collection someday.

I mean, I don't mind new games doing it, even if it is only for nostalgia sake. I just don't want every single game doing it.

And that's what's happening. Oddly enough, the emulation on MMLC 2 is superior.

You know I was here earlier but didn't say much. But I will now.

I'm actually disappointed in capcom. First, I want to address the "Elephant" in the room. It is 30 year anniversary and they didn't plan anything for THIS YEAR. Is the same thing with sega and sonic 25 anniversary last year. When did it become a habit of waiting until the achieved milestone of 2016 being the 25 years of sonic only to announce NEXT YEAR a game will be published to celebrate "This year's" anniversary. THIS YEAR is 30 anniversary, why are we now hearing news of a new game set to release NEXT YEAR! That alone is my disappointment with this.

The second thing is Mega man Legacy Collection. I usually don't consider compilation games bad because we have Mega man Anniversary collection from 15 years ago, 2003 for xbox playstation 2 and gamecube. Nice collection, total of 10 games, 6 improved nes games, Mega man 7 & 8, and while maybe not the best choice, 2 arcade games that many probably didn't know or play. I know the arcade games aren't anything special after you play it for few minutes and maybe could be replaced with something else (Mega man battle and chase) But still nice collection. It features remixed music, fixed bugs, save system, various helpful options like map, and navigation by mega man friends, and some additional content specials.

Mega man legacy collection is split into two different compilations, that is already disappointing. First one is 6 nes games which is unedited from is original game unlike the previous anniversary collection. Though it does have some remix challenges that remind me of NES remix, that is okay, but the rest of it is just artwork and music gallery. First, why did they split it into two separate collections? They couldn't fit all that into one? I dunno, this upsets me.

Another thing is how long it takes for capcom to respond to people requesting a new game. It's been 8 years since they released mega man 10 and it takes this long to do something about it. I'm happy that capcom is making a NEW mega man game but I am underwhelmed at how is presented. Is a nice stream for people but it just seem like it could have been better. Making people wait until is almost no longer relevant isn't the best of ideas.

All this time they could have had a new mega man game. Inti creates have been making them since 2000 with mega man zero series and mega man 9 & 10. They even made Azure striker gunvolt, Blaster Master Zero, and Mighty Gunvolt burst, not to mention new game this month from the creators of mega man zero series. Why wait this long for new game? :whip:

Old style megaman with new style graphics I'm buzzing wish more developers would do this for older titles such as contra, castlevania etc I know we had rebirth but that was a while ago now. To me it makes sense I know konami are on the whole pachinko machine vibe so doubtful will ever see another real castlevania game. But small team of developers producing new retro titles with updated graphics I'm always down for that assuming the gameplay is faithful

A bit off-topic, but I totally forgot that Comcept is under Level-5 now. We could basically see Level-5 version of Megaman. Would be interesting to see a new Mighty No 9 soon.

Eh. I guess it's nice? I'd have rather had an entirely new game. Mega Man 9 was pretty great but 10 wasn't as good. I can't really see 11 being all that excitement but I'll probably buy it anyway.
I wish we could get a new (good) spin-off. We had X, Legends, Zero, Battle Network and even Star Force - it'd be nice if we got another (and not something based on that awful character design for the supposedly still upcoming cartoon).

Heck, the Rockman Crossover designs are fantastic and it had a great score (not all of which was original, but still) but the game sucked ass and now it's dead. Such a shame.

Also: 2.5D sidescrollers are gross and the sooner we stop that shit, the better. They don't have to have an 8-bit art style to look good. Look at the fighting games, for example, that still use sprites - they look incredible with having that awful shiny gleam.

This is probably going to be Mighty No.9 without the clusterfuck Kickstarter PR (since it's funded internally, of course). In fact, it seems they've taken a lot of cues from Mighty No.9 (and no, that isn't a compliment in the least). Look at the slow walk cycle, that God-awful voice they've given poor Mega Man, and just overall... Bleh. The music sounds pretty average too. Like crappy royalty-free techno stuff that they just found lying around.

I wonder if they'll do an x9 if the mm x collection does well...

Maybe. MegaMan X 25 years anniversary is next year. Who knows? :)

Take it easy. It is only a beginning.. Maybe they improvement it a lot before release it in summer 2018. Just be happy with Capcom that they didnt forgot Rockman/MegaMan.

It's my opinion. And in my opinion, it looks bad. I'm not going to just praise it because Capcom finally made a new Mega Man game. That's exactly what they want, but there's no way I'm giving them a free pass on this. I also haven't forgotten about Legends 3 and Universe.

That's true.. I haven't forgotten about Legends 3 but I dont want Universe. Universe is horrible and i am glad that they cancelled it.

You got a good chance of buying a used one and asking the seller how often they used or even ask for a Pic of fw and telling them not to update

Speaking of PLaystation. I see Evilnat put out a beta for PS3 CFW 4.91.2 on the 22nd.

Yea you right, I thought about updating my PS3 CFW to 4.91, but why really, everything plays fine now. I guess for people that have already updated past 4.9 it would be helpful.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Thats true, personally I don't play it online at all, in fact, I deleted all wifi details on it once I installed CFW, so it won't connect and auto-update itself
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I play most games that are on both PS3/360 strickly on the 360, but PS3 exclusives are really only games I play on the PS3 (You know me, I'm more of a Xbox junkie)
