A related thing-- some of these mobile ads are getting out of hand. In the last month, they have gotten bigger and slowed down my browser more. Here is an example of one...

Not everyone wants to use a different browser and/or AdBlock.
Also, you can get AdBlock functionality system-wide in any browser and app with root.
rooting is certainly more complicated than get a simple app, beside rooting a device also nullify ur warranty, i dont' see this could be a smart move here just to block some ads by rooting ur smartphone, i would rather get firefox+adblocks, with some easy steps you can also import all bookmarks to firefox as well...

a. i'm using a desktop
b. i have an adblocker on said laptop, i just don't want to use them so i can support gbatemp
c. my phone is rooted and has an adblocker, i don't want to use it for reasons stated above

That is false. Software modifications don't void your warranty in the EU. Not to mention, just let people use the browser they want, stop being so persistent with your Firefox propaganda...

Yeah, I might get an adblocker. Dont get me wrong, the temp is great, but I never press the ads so I'm not giving any money to the temp anyway... lol. I don't use Firefox because of how they handle tabs, it's a bit annoying.
(Edit: that's why I have 13 tabs in the screenshot lol)

they are supposed to be much more profitable than other platforms... it seems to be proving true for now, but if it's at the expense of having video ads, popups and whatnot, I am not sure we are going to keep them! I never agreed to these formats, it was supposed to be banners only.
That's quite odd that they put in ads you didn't agree too.... have they said anything before about that?

i have that stupid connector on my gpu luckily it's only a 300w gpu so i should(?) be fine since all the issues are with the quad 8pin->12pin and mine is only dual 8pin

quite a tight bend on that 8pin->12pin adapter in my case, which is the worst case scenario, but i made sure it was fully seated after plugging everything in and bending the cable so it shouldn't come unseated by itself since i pre-stressed the cable
