I'm trying to stream Pokemon, but I can't get the in-game wifi to work.
So now I can only stream when I'm the the Festival Plaza...

I tried to send the memory patch at the title screen, then load the save.
But it still stops streaming when you go in-game.

Is there something I'm missing...?
I have no clue at all...

I believe it works for all games, I've been streaming it just fine without doing anything but the patch, but that might be it too.
the mem patch is just a 4 bytes write command. not all game has the same offset.

edit: Im wrong actually.
the mem patch seems patched a consistent system process instead. it's not the game specific nfc patch
write(0x0105AE4,(0x70,0x47),pid=0x1a)
and it's 2 bytes:lol:

Try goin to the home menu on the title screen, then applying it.

It didn't work...

1.Restart the 3DS
2.Open BootNTR (BootNTR Selector 2.9 、Version 3.6)
3.Open Pokemon Ultra Sun
4.Stay at the title screen and go to the home menu
5.On PC, open kit-kat ,type in the IP, connect and apply the patch

Did I do something wrong?

try ips patch if you can't get the mem patch work.

sd root:
luma/titles/00040000001B5000 or 1B51 /code.ips
then it's done. no more patching. good to go。。

So I don't have to open something or any settings?
Or patch it everytime I restart 3DS?

I don't know if the ips patch is working or not...
I still can't stream.

My game is Ultra Sun, so I placed the ips file under "luma/titles/00040000001B5000/" and I renamed DisableNFC.ips to code.ips.
Then I turned on 3DS, launched BootNTR, and opened the game.

patch is definitely working. just asking... you do using the US version patch, right?

btw, streaming is for n3ds only.

please tell what exactly you did for trying to stream the game. like step by step...

Yes, I am using the US version patch.
And I'm using n3DS.

I streamed before, so I'm sure my 3DS can stream.
But the last time I stream 3DS games was probably 3 months ago...

And I can stream when I'm inside the Festival Plaza.
So the problem is definitely because pokemon shuts the wifi connection when you're outside the plaza...

I think the IPS patch can work, but somehow on my 3DS, it's not working.....
Is there settings I have to do?

what's your luma version? old version does not support ips patch.
