Considering the seed will come out the moment it's officially released, it's impossible to play early as the seed won't be available If the seed becomes available, you won't get banned for playing using it.

It happened to me too, apparently, RTChanger gave correct date but after starting the game it was changed to 2030 while the RT was still 2017!:/ I need to get PKHeX to work to edit all the 2030s to 2017s...

Only a few Pokemon have totem forms, so no.

You CAN hack totems in. Not talking about legitimately here. I changed the species on the totem Raticate to Arceus and it worked (changed it back though since I have a totem collection)

They won't trade I assume, since all non-legit mons are blocked. I changed it using a hexeditor, not PKHeX, still having trouble with that thing:/

You don't. I simply modified the species, which is a value, found it, then changed it to that of Arceus. It worked, but I changed it back since I don't want hacked stuff.

I'm not talking about hacking in totems, I'm talking about hacking in totem sized pokemon. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you'd need to actually put a new model in the game. I'm basing this on the fact that each totem Pokemon has a totem form id that corresponds to a totem sized model.

Totems and totem sized mons are the same thing!:/ Totems when fighting them and totem sized mons when you get them! What I did was replace Raticate's species with Arceus's and it worked with some edits, didn't become totem sized for real, but it kept stats and everything Raticate had.
