Hacking Banners/icon templates for Wii VC

Here's one I made today for Black Ops
It's not in the repo for images from the VC Injector, so here's my little contribution to it

I've done what I could for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King and My Life as a Darklord using the official banner files extracted from the Wii channel, as well as official artwork I could find. I used a modified Wiiware header in order to frame the artwork better in the icon.

My Life as a King title ID WFCE (North America). I recommend enabling Classic Controller emulation to enable full GamePad control.

My Life as a Darklord title ID WF2E (North America), enable Classic Controller emulation.


I hope someone else gets some enjoyment out of these.

I've remade the bootTvTex.tga and iconTex.tga for Pandora's Tower, with the opening.bnr thanks to your help.
My problem is to create one for Nights: Journey of Dreams. I could make a iconTex.tga but not a bootTvTex.tga because Wii Banner Player didn't show the banner properly. Only the background and the sound is loading. Nights and the Nights logo refuse to load.

If someone can manage to make icons and banners for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games (And Winter and London Olympic games) That would be great ^^ And I know this isn't a popular game, but can someone also make icon and banner for a game called Dokapon Kingdom? Its a great underrated Wii game.

Banjo-Tooie does not work for me the game loads to title screen and i hit start only to see banjo and a white background tried playing game best i could but after 5 mins had zero clue what was going on lol due to banjo being the only graphics showing.

banjo tooie runs okayish with overclock with fix94 r2 release and fb textures turned to on.

Done, not sure about Shaun White World Tour, I think the banner is messed up (could you check on Wii U?)
Banners that will need reworked:

• Sakura Wars (not sure why the logo is not showing properly do you catch the right time to take the screengrab?)
• Harvest Moon Animal Parade (icon is fine)
• Marbles Balance (icon is fine)

I only own Sakura Wars so I will see if I can't fix it.

Also reworked Driver San Francisco.

For official release I won't create banners, I will get the .tga from junstool if available, that's the case with WarioWare Smooth Moves and Shadow Tale, though I updated the US releases (PAL missing)

Please check if they show up in the injector app

From the ones you mentioned...here are new uploads for marbles balance challenge (banner), sakura (both) and shaun white world tour (banner). The last one does have that black band above the white background, so it's not strangely cut or something (okay, perhaps by the makers ).

For harvest moon, I'm afraid I can't help out much: the banner just doesn't show a background. I've included the opening.bnr, but I doubt things will show up different on your end.

Finally...Driver: san fransisco doesn't show up in the injector. Is it added to "SDVP" (the European version) as well?

In any case: already a huge thanks for the work on the games that do show up.


(btw...is there anything I can do to help out on gamecube games? I know this list is slowly getting updates of the entire alphabet, but I'm missing a few good ones on the end of it ).

Could these be possibly made in official format? I apologize for the large amount of requests, i only listed them because they were the only ones i had that didn't have covers in the database, and i'm sure there are others that would benefit from it.

i also included the boot sound which is under 6 seconds ... and didnt bother with a looppoint
