Homebrew Red screen issue on New3DSXL and 11.6 using Ninjhax

I'm experiencing an issue with the HBL and a few apps. I can use Ninjhax just fine to boot to the HBL. However, when i exit from an app such as Snes9x, VirtuaNES, I get the red screen freeze and have to hard reboot the device, it seems it won't go back to HBL when exiting apps. However, super ftpd works just fine when exiting. Any suggestions??? I am running all the latest versions of the apps.

The payloads are a bit buggy on the latest firmware. Those apps aren't quite optimized for it yet, and thus red screen. It's a common issue, and I suggest buying a 20 dollar flashcart to install a full cfw to use emulators.
