What is the SLC, SLCCMPT, and SEEPROM? I know from the 3DS scene that OTP stands for one time password, and it's use is pretty obvious (as, ya know, a PASSWORD?) but what do those mean? I would assume SLC and SLCCMPT are connected, but how? And I know MLC is the bulk of the storage, where apps and savedata and users and stuff are stored, but where does the name come from and mean? Thanks.

OTP = One Time Programmable memory
Contains an assortment of read-only data, including the console’s encryption/decryption keys.

SEEPROM = Serial EEPROM
It includes console information, boot parameters and other stuff.

MLC = Multi Level Cell
This is the Wii U Internal Storage Chip.
It includes System Apps, such as Wii U Menu, System Settings, Wii U Browser etc. It also includes your installed games.

SLC = Single Level Cell
This is the Wii U Nand chip.
It includes system configuration such as system.xml, sysmenu.xml and other critical parts of the Wii U

SLCCMPT =SLC Compatible Multi level cell
This is the Virtual Wii (vWii) Nand Chip.
It includes vWii IOS’s and vWii files.

I am in the process of doing the soldering, however I am unsure if you're allowed to solder the wire to both of the points of each "RXX"or if it's only possible to solder to one of the points. To clarify which points I'm talking about I'll provide a picture, and I've marked the two points inside a red circle. To summarize can I solder to both of the points or not, I can't really determine this from the pictures in this thread or Leefuls thread.

Just wondering & i know your the man to ask .. why use CBHC over Haxchi ? i have not done either one yet im planning to do haxchi in a week or so .... if CBHC is risky............ and Haxchi is able to allow me to stop using the annoying web exploit .... whats the advantages of using CBHC ....
& when i do the Haxchi way can i play online ? does black ops 2 still have servers for wii U ? ...? ..

CBHC is not really risky. Most (all?) CBHC bricks can be explained by user error. Basically, CBHC can be dangerous because if you mess up your Haxchi, it messes up your console's boot process, which is not something you want to mess up unless you know exactly what you are doing.

i see that makes sense ... but still what are the advantages of CBHC over Haxchi ? .... as for me i just want to be able NOT to use the browser at all ..so im going for haxchi ... as of course playing nintendont or Injects i have to redo the browser way ... which of course doesn't work 100% of the time .. ( Get's Old AF Fast ...) im looking forward to turning wifi off completely .. Unless i can play black ops 2 .. i might be tempted but i reckon the server might be dead ? im not sure why i think that i have no proof at all .. yet

CBHC stands for ColdBootHaxChi. It just clicks HaxChi for you when you start so you're already in CFW

oh right okay.. gotcha ... so just curious now ... when i have Haxchi .... how would i turn my CFW on ? .. a app from the game i bought i guess " Brainage " all the same i would be happy just to have it working

Click the haxchi button and wait on reboot.

You have to change the HaxChi config file to say "default=sysmenu" then install HaxChi.
