Lol well I thought that if you go into anything CFW like and go into sleep mode, you’ll get a brick.
Not sure where you got that idea? Are you confusing it with installing A9LH on new 3DS consoles where you have to be careful for the five minutes that you're in 2.1?

Sort of like that. It’s all that sleep mode stuff on 3ds.guide and in YouTube tutorials that tell you to not go into sleep mode while doing CFW related stuff. Lol just got that idea but I guess it’s okay.

Well, yeah, sometimes weird stuff can happen, but the only bricks would be from 2.1.0. For example, some programs don't have sleep mode functions (mostly Arm11 payloads), and I know that if you put a 3DS into sleep mode on the exact moment of the homebrew bootsplash where it's got the blue animation it will freeze, but no bricks. Don't worry. Also, don't follow video tutorials.

Test the new card with H2testw to make sure it isn't fake or corrupted.

Tested the card and it is fine. I do have 2 back ups of my 3ds sd cards on my cpu I have one that is prior to me adding CFW and the 2nd is right before I switched to a 64gb card. Really I dont care about the games I downloaded from freeshop. I just want the games I purchased or downloaded from the regular eshop.

Did you accidentally only copy the 3DS folder and not the Nintendo 3DS folder? The 3DS holds homebrew apps (you probably know that) but the Nintendo 3DS holds all installed titles & savedata, though it is encrypted. Make sure you copied both.

No i am copying a back up of the 3ds i save onto my cpu so its all the complete directory.

Now when i copy all the data with the cfw to the 64gb card i get nothing no homebrew no games.

Now when i copy the old pre cfw over to the sd card it works just fine.

Now before i transferred any files after i formatted the 64gb card i tested it out in my 3ds. Then i copied the files and this is where the problem began.

I know there are lots of threads with these question (plus 3ds.guide) , but just want to be sure:

Whats the best, most reliable, 100% success, flashcard for ntrboot? From what i know ntrboot works for every firmware to date, right? So i want to get one if any of my friends/other people want to modify their console.

Where would it be a good website to get it? (Shipping to Miami)

R4i Gold 3DS RTS. Get it from NDS-Card.

I'm just trying to download all this Luma stuff for the first time and the guide I'm following says to "Copy boot.firm from the Luma3DS .7z to the root of your SD card" however, when I download Luma 8.1.1, boot.firm is nowhere to be found. Any help?

Did you extract it using 7zip?

Luma CFW
Ocarina of Time 3D

I followed the hacking guide and using the latest version of everything.

When enabling clock speed and L2 cache under luma, the game starts to skip at certain parts when 3D is turned on. It kind of looks like really bad frame skipping. Has anybody else notice this? This is noticeable when exiting Kokiri forest onto Hyrule field where the owl talks to you. And its also noticeable in Kokiri forest when you go up the slope where the know it all brothers are at and walking up the slope towards the direction of your house. It doesn't do this with clock speed and L2 turned off. Is this bad luma implementation?

That's weird, maybe try some older builds. Only 8.0+ will work on B9S 1.2 and 1.3 (which is what you must have) but you can try the legacy version also which is the same as 7.1 only it works on B9S 1.2 +.
So try 8.1.1, 8.1, 8.0 and this one: http://www.hirobyte.com/archivos/legacy/boot.firm

I've noticed that it doesn't do this with only clock speed turned on. Im guessing its the L2 cache thats causing this.
