It just seems that all the Switch has caused are massive game leaks. Somehow, people are obtaining digital copies of unreleased games on the Switch via the eShop and just ruining these new games. First, it was Odyssey, now it's Sonic Forces, come on people, stop with whatever you're doing and let us actually have that experience you had when you played these games unspoiled. There are now YouTube videos of all of the Sonic Forces cutscenes and the full game, I've honestly had it at this point. How are these people obtaining unreleased digital games from the eShop?

AFAIK it's SEGA that activated the codes before release for some reason. Normally you'd get a message something like "This game is not out yet, please try again later." from eShop.

For oddesy some people got copies from retailers before release I my self found a copy early while on holiday in Switzerland

Hmm? There's nothing wrong with GameXplain. They don't put spoilers in their thumbnails and titles, and videos that contain spoilers have a lengthy disclaimer at the beginning that's even read out loud.

Or the developers not adding a lock like Odyssey did.

Others have gone philosophical and to join in I now have to ponder how a console with no games causes game leaks.... maybe it is a hacker.

Anyway this has been a "problem" since games got big enough in terms of story and popularity (so some time in the early 80s I reckon). Usual suspects for leaks are developer interviews/pre release footage, review copies, other regions getting it first, shops not caring about release dates (there being something of a lag between developer saying done and games appearing on shelves to be sold), people in distribution sharing it with their mates (see why all the NFOs ask for people in such positions).

I think what the actual problem is is that OP is jealous because the switch is not hacked yet and they can't join in. You know if they had a nice DS flash cart, DVD hacked 360 or modded wii they would be right there for prerelease games.

Wait shouldn't the title be people are annoying me at this point. Or leaked videos are annoying me at this point. The Switch is an object that isn't causing you spoiler pain. The switch isn't a living thing leaking leaks. If videos are bothering you so much then you know SWITCH them off.
