I'm not sure @ShadowOne333 posted a link to it a while back thoughI tested the game on dolphin and it worked ... where do I see the compatibility list?
Rename it to boot.dol and replace it.Got it, will post again if it works.
This one?I'm not sure @ShadowOne333 posted a link to it a while back though
So i finally got my inject of Smash Bros Melee to install, but it reaches the nintendont screen and gives an error saying something about ios8? not sure what it says exactly since it only appears for a second. After that, it sends me back to the wii u menu. Any ideas as to what that means?
Yea that build is way way way old, update and try again.i think? unless theres a version newer then the one i'm using, its 4.425
Yep, this build works. Why isn't the 2.2.5 build in the op post?
4.425 lol, you're waaaaay behind with that version.i think? unless theres a version newer then the one i'm using, its 4.425
Thanks ShadowOne333
Works perfectly now, thanks for the help!Rename it to boot.dol and replace it.
Welcome, dudeThanks ShadowOne333
It's explained ... the game is not yet compatible. Pokemon battle revolutionThanks ShadowOne333
no, iso's are 4.5GB, wbfs are the extractive, when you use this script though, regardless of if you use iso or wbfs, the installer will be a little bigger than the wbfs fileIs the game size still the ISO size even if the game is only 500mb big as a wbfs?
That's too bad, although i think i have this game and will experiment around with it when i have free time. It's explained ... the game is not yet compatible. Pokemon battle revolution
Yeah, I figured that out, i packed a game with out the manual.bfma also, same thing, xenoblade
@KhaderWelaye quoting myself, what do you think about that?Hi guys, I'm lurking on this thread for a while, I really want thanks all the people involved in wii vc research
@ploggy That HBC build is one year old, there were some new commits after that...
@KhaderWelaye your script is awesome, can I suggest a name for the newer gui rewrite? "Hai injector", because Hai is the codename N. E. R. D. Gave to the wii vc loader
BTW, I'm wondering what happens if we try to boot the HBC/Hackmii installer on the main channel with the wiimote emulation patches...
@cucholix that's what you were searching for? Remember that you can use ftpiiu to replace single files...I have tried incessantly to figure out a way to remove the option to enter in the manual of a WiiVC game. I browsed all the files and compared to others, but it seems that it is not possible to remove this option, as if it were attached to the Wii U main system.
However, I could change hexadecimal values in the meta.xml, so you can access any manual as long as it has its digital version hosted on the Nintendo server.
--
The manual is accessed through hexadecimal values in the reserved_flag2 field of meta.xml:
<reserved_flag2 type="hexBinary" length="4">53583445</reserved_flag2>
53 58 34 45 = SX4E
RVLP SX4E USZ (Xenoblade Chronicles ~ Wii)
When I deleted the hexadecimal values of this field + reserved_flag1, the system could not access any manual, only showing the url where the manuals would be hosted if they existed with their respective IDs:
m1.nintendo.net/docvc/RVL/USA//_P.pdf
I'm still trying to figure out if there's a way to change the url completely, but it seems to be the most that can be modified, may be something pre-built in the system.
I hope this information is of some help.
Hi there, do you have a link to latest compiled Open Homebrew Channel wad?@KhaderWelaye quoting myself, what do you think about that?

Probably the real url is somewhere inside one of the wii u executables..

No, sorry the requirement should be in the Readme...Hi there, do you have a link to latest compiled Open Homebrew Channel wad?
If you are searching for were the full URL is stored :
Mistery solved heh, good job!
Good thing you only need to modify the meta.xml
FrisbiiU.rpx
This is the least interesting part of the whole Wii VC. It just displays the fancy banner on boot and takes care of showing the manual. Note that this binary doesn’t even do the “This game supports the GamePad” prompt – the Wii U menu does that (based on the meta.xml), and just calls CMPTAcctSetDrcCtrlEnabledwith the result, but more on that in nn_cmpt.rpl section. For all the rest, it calls the included nn_hai_user.rpl library.
