(NONPDRM - SEE THE RELEASE THREAD (the release thread is somewhere on gbatemp)

(Backing up your games using NONPDRM)

(see the nonpdrm release thread for details, assuming you already edited the config.txt file in the ux0/tai folder and added the plugin to the tai folder "nonpdrm.skprx") Power off your Vita, take out the sd2vita memory card. Now when you restart your vita you should be able to use vita shell, remember you installed that to your internal memory in our mlthaku.tk installations instructions ... put your cartridge game in your vita and launch the app, and then close the app, now you should have the license files in the license folder, and you can just copy the contents of the game cart directly to your PC, and replace rename the .rif license file for the game to "work.bin" and add it to the folder, "PCSEXXXXX/sce_sys/package/work.bin" (overwrite/replace the "work.bin" file if it is there)

(when your all finished backing up your game, power off the vita, take out the game card, and place the sd2vita adapter with the micro SD back into the vita and power on, you have all of your bubbles and stuff you had before, because its reading your Micro SD care now, not the internal memory)

EDIT

Updated the Installation steps for mlthaku's update

*-Corrupt the sd card with zzimage.
*-Format the Microsd card.
*-Insert the card into the SD2Vita.
*-Launch mlthaku.
*-the led of the cardtridge slot should start blinking.
*-install MLTHaku.
*-Notice that the SD2Vita is loaded as Ux0.

Updating to Mlthaku's Newer Version
(if you followed the installation guide, and want to now install the update mlthaku version. Then, Power off the Vita, and take out the sd2vita card. Now go to mlthaku's website on your vita, and run the installation. Then Power off your Vita, and reinsert the sd2vita card, now power on your vita again, your bubbles will reappear and you'll be update...............now you need to add the entries for adrenaline, nonpdrm, and dsmotion in addition to any game plugins back into your "config.txt" in the ur0/tai/ folder)

(as it stands, you do not need an official memory card, so its better to not have one in the unit. at some point in the installation process, your vita won't identify the card..............that said................After your finished the installation process, and verify everything works, the newer version of vita 1.74 or the current one, is supposed to allow you to mount a usb stick or a official memory card as uma0...................I haven't tested any of that, and I wouldn't recommend using any of the above, because of the power draw issues and over heat issues...................replacing the hot usb stick with a sd2vita is a big lifesavor)

Go to Settings/Format/ and use the RESTORE THIS SYSTEM option. Then follow the installation guide from the beginning, and go to henkaku.xyz/go/ and continue from there.................Mlthaku is a kernal plugin that writes itself in some special places.................because of that.................you need to install Henakaku Enso first..................that is one of the program the updated mlthaku will install, fortunately, I went though the guide and updated it with a fresh install to a pstv/vita.

You shouldn't need that but if for whatever reason you need to reinstall Molecular Shell then, add the .vpk to vita shell, install, then ignore the error, go to the root of vita shell, and use the "refresh live area" option and then molecular shell will show up. That is the current version henkaku.xyz/go/ will install. If there's problem with that link, please delete the link. (copy the contents of the molecule shell folder into a .zip archive and rename it to vpk the one henkaku.xyz/go/ installs)

^ Same Issue. If I run henkaku on my Fat Vita it won't install molecular shell because it doesn't have internal memory. I have reformatted my Micro SD cards 3 times as specified in guide and I believe my adapter is junk (smiley face one). I have no way of knowing if either are correct because I don't have a vita memory card or internal memory. All I get with either henkaku or mlthaku install is the setting.

No Internal Memory! Okay. Well, install henkaku.xyz/go/ with official memory card, so molecule is installed, then install henkaku enso.............use the sd2vita plugin and add that to your ur0 or ux0 tai folder and add the entry in the config.txt..........then..............your micro SD will be uma0 (with official memory card as ux0), now install usbmc and your micro SD will be mounted as ux0: when you start your vita in the future............I guess that is right, you'll have to use google!
