I can't find CTGP-7.zip in your SD card... How is it supposed to work? Also there is a files folder. Delete or rename it before proceeding.
Doesn't it delete CTGP-7.zip after it extracts it?

Yes, but you said it was showing "files are missing". Remove the "files" folder and place the zip again.
Just did. That was from thinking I needed to extract CTGP-7.zip myself, and the program I was using decided to extract it to root. I realized right before it started copying files, but it had already created the folders (this was going over ftp). Do I delete the CTGP-7 folder or do I keep it?

Delete the "files" folder and the ctgp-7 folder yep. Just copy the zip file itself. The manager will extract it.
While the manager can take the extracted zip, sometimes it isn't extracted/copied properly. That's why I tell people to put the zip in the sd and let the installer extract it properly.

Could you make it in the future download the zip itself and extract it? Also, is there a tool that lets me see what files it's trying to access so I might find out what it's trying to do?

Have you tried it again and still not workkng?
Also, the downloader works at 68KB/sec, so for a 200MB(200000KB) file it would take 49 minutes :P

Well, I started programming in lua (Check CTGP-7/script.lua) then learnt C and started making ntr plugins. If I were you I'd just learn the programming language first and then make homebrew.
