I skipped the switch. For now. Will perhaps buy it this Winter. Like everyone else has said. It could take years before anything cool will happen with the switch.

Yeah Splatoon 2, Skyrim, Mario Odyssey are all remakes...

So dumb
Never did I say ''all'' are remakes. I said its a remakefest. Which it is. Dont be so butthurt because you keep playing the same games.

There are 2 remakes. Mario kart and pokken tournament
You just wrote 2 system sellers basically.
Also...

Mario Kart
Pokken
and.....
Zelda BOTW (technically a remake)
Street Fighter
Lego City Undercover
Puyo Puyo Tetris
Shantae
SineMora
Fast Rmx
Axiom Verge
Minecraft
Rayman Legends
Binding of Isaac
Azure Striker
Mighty gunvolt
Terraria
Steamworld dig
1001 Spikes
Shovel Knight

And these are just from the top of my head.

EDIT: And yes I understand these are technically not remakes.

They have a hack bounty now, so that will add some extra time. If I found an exploit, I'd happily sell it, rather than get a little praise but also Nintendo on my ass.
selling exploits is greedy to me for example if i were to find one i would not use it for money since i would rather have hacks then money even if its alot of money. hackers just use the money you get from your job and don't be greedy.

If it's just for exploits, get a Wii U because it's blown wide open. The Switch will take a long time to get to that point.

If it's for playing new games, the Wii U is already end-of-life.

It's not greedy. You aren't owed an exploit. They aren't keeping anything from you.

Would you still say that even if you were the one who put all the time and effort into researching and developing the exploit?

Well that effort could be used to do cool stuff with the switch or money every one getting and exploit sounds better to me than one person getting alot of money. The person who found the exploit can choose its up to them if they want to share some thing or be greedy.

Exactly. I made developed homebrew apps (none of which are nearly as difficult as discovering an exploit), and I spent hundreds of hours on several of them. Hell, I was still working on SysCheck HDE until a devkitPro update broke everything. I didn't owe the apps to anyone.

Give me your computer when you're done with it. If you sell it instead of giving it to me, you're greedy.

Why is it greedy? You take your time and effort to find the exploit. It's your choice

if they doing hacking as a hobby they problay would not want to sell the exploits as you would want to do stuff with the switch with it and I don't see how you can make it into a job by selling your exploits as they aren't that common

People like you don't realize just how hard that kind of work is. It's not fun.

Iknow it would be really hard but wouldn't a hacker want to hack the switch to get into it rather than just for money
What they want is their own business. And it wouldn't matter if it was fun. If you like your job, are you greedy for getting a paycheck?

Fucking lame. Thread viewed 1000 times and only one reply that doesnt even answer what I asked.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
You could say the same for a couple or so threads that used to be popular, I guess.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
I mean. All I ask was for people to see if ONE, SINGLE website is working properly in edge. 1000 people see it but cant be bothered at all
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Ready to just leave this place anyway. The amount of shit talking and bullying behavior that goes unchecked is crazy. No where else do I see this shit towards me and others. Not even on reddit have I been talked to like I have here by other members
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@RedColoredStars, I did read the last sentence in your post by the way. Maybe try changing the privacy settings in your browser to standard if that works.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I've also heard that Chromium-based browsers will stop working with ad-blockers.

Thing is , the videos work fine in the Edge Dev and Canary builds. But whatever the fix they made was, has never been pushed to Beta or Stable builds. Its been that way for as far back as I tested. Which was Edge 84. They are on 125 now.

@RedColoredStars, Yeah, and I was in quite a mood at that time. I would consider choosing Firefox or Opera instead, been using Firefox for over 7 years now than Chrome.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Tried contacting Nintendo to see if they can reach out to MS about it. But Nintendo said the videos are working fine. Without enough people saying no, they don't work fine, it will never get fixed.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
I have Firefox and used it for many years. But Edge runs noticible faster on my pc at both opening and loading pages.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I don't think Nintendo will know anything about troubleshooting Edge. They mostly do technical support regarding their console family.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Tell them you downloaded their trailer without permission

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Good one, Ken.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Right. But they could create a ticket that gets forwarded to the proper team. I think Nintendo would care that their videos aren't working on a major browser
