Oh, well no wonder The xbox one was like $500 on launch day, that 500GB of storage which somehow got filed almost have way when my dad tried halo master chief collection and installed about 60GB worth of game data plus updates. Guess now I should be happy the wii u was $250 for 8GB or $300 for 32GB storage on launch day.

They could least had a small internal HDD that is easily replaceable like the other consoles. But based the size of the system, i doubt one could fit, unless it was a SSD. Would have been much more expensive.

Coulda woulda shoulda, people could just get a 120 GB HDD for like, 30 bucks, it's not that big of an issue. it would increase costs and heating.

360 on launch also was ~500, PS3 on launch was ~600.
360 also had a core model which had no HDD but could be purchased seperately.

Basically, if you got a high end console, you got to have a internal drive in it.
Especially in this era where gamers constantly complain about loading times and FPS and GFX etc.
Reading a game from a BD disc takes longer then reading it from a HDD.

Something that Nintendo doesn't seem to have fully mastered yet ;/

120 GB HDD for 30 quid?
Mate you get ripped off.

1 TB drives are like 40 quid?

It was an example mostly of how cheap they are, sorry. People could be using their energy to work and save up for a cheap HDD instead of complaining of the lack of one.

Ughhh this sucks. My Switch got updated so I could buy Splatoon 2 but I really hope another exploit will be found soon.

You should buy a second one now then, no guarantee switches will be less than 3.0.1 by the time exploits are released.

Something tells me that an exploit on this system may not be as fruitful (aside from homebrew) as before. Meh.

You're forgetting how people are.
You can't satisfy them.
If you include a HDD in the console, it'll raise its price, raising complaints from people.

Got to make sacrifices somewhere.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. *sigh*.

Yep.
You'll never be able to satisfy everybody.

Nintendo chose the cheaper solution so Nintendo added flash storage to their consoles.
Can't blame them, otherwise you'll have a fuck ton of crying Nin10year olds being unable to afford your latest rubbish.

Nope, never had that experience. I think both are okay. Vita just fits my hands better.

Wow really? :O no sensation at all? Huh must only be me then

When i switched(lol that pun) from playing on the Switch to the 2DS or vita. I had to take a few minutes to properly, get a feel of the handhelds in order to get use to holding them again since my hands were so use to holding the switch.

You never get that feeling either? Maybe it is because you said your hands are big so maybe that has something to do with it.

Let the crying people bitch and moan all they want, it's kinda of fun to watch them lose their shit  I have a 500 GB HDD I use for my Wii U "backups" :P

This is videogames, there is no win win unless you are that smart enough to get one so easily. There is only focus, on the people willing to put out for the stuff they want to pay for. Cheap sufficient hardware that nearly meets modern standards or expensive next generation hardware that nobody has money to purchase. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

This almost makes me want to buy a Switch, but eh, not enough games out that I want. I'll wait for more games and a price drop, there will be more exploits.

Well... i am really used to holding the Vita, so maybe thats why the switch feels weird?
