How to use SleepiiHax / StupiidHax

Hello there!
I'm Create, one of the many makers of some of the new gates for the exploit that has been going around, that works on the system version of 5.5.2.
This thread was made to teach users how to use SleepiiHax, also known as StupiidHax.
This exploit is very unstable, and may not work very often. Please use this exploit to install Haxchi, so you can gain consistent Homebrew access.
First off, get the Homebrew Launcher and then extract it into your SD card.
Then, eject your SD card and put it into your Wii U, then boot your Wii U.
Next, open up the Internet Browser, then hit X, and go to any one of the URLs down below
http://sleepii.ovh
http://stupiid.ovh
http://u.drg.li
http://www.wiiubru.com/x/
Then select "Exploit" or any of the numbers listed below it. 2 Works the best.
Wait for the browser to load. Watch your Mii in the bottom left while it loads, after a while, the Mii will go to sleep and start emitting Z's, after 3 Z's, if your Mii freezes then the exploit crashed. If it doesn't freeze and instead goes grey, then to a screen that says "Wii U" in the bottom right, it's launching the Homebrew Launcher. If the screen goes slightly grey and freezes after the 3 Z's, then you have crashed. If you get one of these freezes, turn off your console by going to the Wii U itself and holding the power button, and holding the power button on your gamepad, then start it up again and try again. Keep note that this may not work quickly! Please use this exploit for installing Haxchi.
Thank you.
(this is a repost from Wii U Homebrew, but I forgot that I wasn't in tutorials when I posted it there) Sorry!

why call it like that? why give it a stupid name?
I'm still waiting for the dev to explain which vulnerability he used, but I guess the same as browserhax from dimok.

I get it the URL mirrors which exist are called like that, that's not the exploit name but just the Host's URL address. it would be like calling it "the wiiubru / loadiine" exploit because that's the host's URL which can launch the browser exploit.
I guess it's easier to remember, but I fear users will start calling this exploit the "sleepiihax" or the "stupiidhax" while it's not. it might end like the "bresilian method" while it's just using crediar's app...
I don't like spreading wrong info or rumors, they tend to stick for a long time here.

of course, if I'm wrong and the author/developer decided to call his exploit the stupiidHax, then my bad. give me a link to his post, I didn't read the last pages of the official thread yet since yersterday night.

The original developer hasn't commented on the issue, but in the first few pages of that official thread he also seemed to imply that he really didn't care. I chose stUpiidhax because the hack is really stupid and either works really consistently or not at all and it seems to change it's mind on which it is completely at random. @Create_ chose SleepiiHax because you spend a lot of time looking at your Mii getting sleepy in the lower left corner of the gamepad. If the original developer comes up with an official name for the exploit, I'll be happy to update my sites accordingly of course. Hopefully this sheds some light on this issue.

"no disrespect"
seriously? just because you say no disrespect doesn't mean it isn't disrespectful
anyways, yes I know it is a retarded name but I slightly like it, it sounds cool, and I can use the name to parody loadiine

yeah, you could call stagefright stupiidfright too, it doesn't have 100% success rate, and you have to retry few times.
really not a name I like to read as exploit name.
the dev told me to pick a name myself, and I chose to just stay with the generic "browser hack on 5.5.2" instead of finding a (ii trend) name. So, I guess it's free to pick a name, I'll go with what is the most used I suppose. something in theme with the vulnerability's name is usually what's picked. now it's "heap use after free on input pictures"? Piictfree to keep the "ii" trend?

the ii trend name was mostly a parody of loadiine.ovh, but yeah I understand

Heh, I guess I didn't realize the naming issue would garner so much attention. I think at the end of the day, having a name, even a stupid one, will improve SEO. As for the OVH's tld, it was picked mostly because of loadiine using it and I already had an account on OVH's European portal, not because it was cheap.

Oh well, I only wanted to put my nose in it lol

Also, (offtopic mode activated) isn't OVH a French company ? (deactivated)
