If that is drama then the internet has seriously lowered the bar for such things as it seemed most involved were just having a laugh and nobody, possibly beyond the one espousing them, took any claims seriously. All I saw was either a seriously misinformed/borderline puritanical person with a possible case of hypersensitivity that did not grasp that was not how the world worked or someone trying and failing miserably to stir up some shit.
So one was a mild agitator at best and the other played upon the sympathies of the community for no great reason other than to do so. I am not seeing the scope for a useful comparison there.

I don't think anyone is really taking this situation seriously tbh, and this is little more than mildly self-aware humor.
That being said, there has been a lot of drama on here lately, especially in the 3DS Scene. Stuff like that honestly makes me consider releasing FidgetSpinner3DS 2.

Exclude 3ds related sections. Makes life far easier. Not like the 3ds has any games and everybody that wants to make good homebrew skips the 3ds and goes for android and a raspberry pi or something.

I tend to disagree on the game bit, but sadly, you have a point about the Homebrew. Most good Homebrew for the scene are merely system tools; while there is certainly nothing wrong with that, there is a lack of Homebrew games and utilities. It's a shame, really.

For me all the commercial games that made the GBA and DS great, and still make them great, dried up for the 3ds or went to android and IOS -- I have previously covered bits where I would do retrospectives of the GBA and DS and as part of it (usually just for me) I would do a "where are they now?" bit and it was that time and time again, to say nothing of even when the 3ds did maybe get something it was also available there. IOS also kneecapped the already slowing DS homebrew scene (save for emulators all the fun of such things and you could possibly get paid for it) and saw loads of the good devs move to that, and then presumably to android when it took over.
Personally I am not so bothered as it was the cool homebrew I was after, the device it ran on was neither here nor there as long as it could do it.
