I haven't played BotW in ages, I let the game update, and now it's saying it needs a system update before it can run. I'm using Mocha CFW and I'm using the European version on a US console (I got the super leaked version way back). I'm on 5.5.1. What should I do? Let it update in Mocha? Did I already screw up by letting the game update? I let the game update a while back and it still worked fine. Now it needs a system update.

Ignore the prompt. Do NOT update. Use NNU patcher if you must. Shouldn't need it though.

So I need internet to get to homebrew launcher website, launch homebrew, launch Mocha, then I entered a custom/spoof DNS to stop the system from updating. Man, that's tedious lol. NNU patcher will simplify that? (or, is there a way to play BotW more simply? Maybe not even needing mocha?)

Once you block the updates, you no longer have to do it anymore.
If you decline the update, you're saying it WON'T let you play the game? In my experience, it should let you proceed. I just did that with Smash.

And why aren't you running Haxchi or CBHC?

Yeah it wouldn't let me play until I did the DNS spoof. I'm not running those because I don't feel like buying a DS game (I assume that's still needed right?).

LOZBOTW released an update yesterday... the v112 (v 1.3.1), so the best way is to download it from nus or utikdownload or wiiu usb helper no?

Yeah thats what he needs to do, for some reason the game says Update your system while it really means update the game, it kinda threw us off a bit when it was leak.

grab wiiu usb helper and dl last update, install it easy.
Sir, you are correct. I'm on RedNAND, did this and it worked for me.
1. Downloaded update (112) using WiiU USB-helper.
2. Copied to install folder on the SD-card
3. Installed using WUP installer
4. ???
5. Game playable, no annoying update message anymore. (for now)
