Of coarse by all games I mean the ones that are marked currently playable ? I'm hoping this setup will be enough for full speed 1080p game play, cause I really don't have the funds for cpu/motherboard/ram upgrade at this point. Anybody have a similar Intel PC as me if so how does it run Zelda Botw ? I don't have any games, so I can't test out for myself. Thanks

Pay no attention to this thread. Was just a reason to brag.

Dude I'm not bragging, I hate those guys that come on message broads asking if his *NEW* $2000 rig is good enough and he usually has the latest Intel CPU and a GTX card

My CPU is 6 years old but is well OC'ed. I'm pretty sure 1060 6GB is plenty so I should have asked only about my CPU. Anyway by judging your response it looks like my CPU will do just fine. I won't upgrade then.

Can anybody at least tell if I have some of head room with my setup or still cutting it close in some games ? Thanks

I don´t think 6GB RAM is enough to play the game at 1080p... also 8GB RAM is recommended for proper emulation, 4GB RAM is the minimum, but everything else seems ok, download a small game for testing porpuses, see how it runs.

6 GB of VRAM should be plenty.
(I assume it is VRAM since it's next to "GTX 1060" in the title)

What's wrong with you, man? Some weeks ago you were saying that hacking your Wii U was too hard and now you want to play Wii U games using emulator while still having Wii U? You really consider playing Zelda Botw in 10 fps on your PC better option than playing it natively?

My gosh what a load of BS posts in this thread. @Noob75 I have a 2500k @4.5ghz, 16gb ddr3 @2133, and GTX 1070. BotW is 30FPS just about everywhere but villages using 4k graphics pack. Villages average 20fps. Not sure how high a graphics pack the 1060 can do but by comparison a gt1030 on the same rig gives me the exact same FPS as the 1070 but only up to 1080p.

Do you have at least 8 GB of RAM? If you don't, the games will run but with lots of stuttering.

Yes I have 8GB ram the 6GB was my vram.

I'd rather play them on the PC. Also I didn't know that Cemu had progressed as far as it did, I got a good chuck of change by selling my mint condition Wii U and the some other games I had enough to get my GTX 1060.

A good emulator allows for speedrunners to train in certain courses by using save states, or experiment with frame perfect inputs (aka TAS)
