Hacking Can I use SD2VITA and 8gb memory card?

So I have an 8gb men card right now and my sd2v adapter is coming. Can i use both concurrently? I.e have some games on one men card and others on the other?

You can mount one as uma0 and one as ux0. ux0 is the memory card, where games can be stored and played. This is where you want your largest memory source to be mounted as (so the SD2Vita adapter). uma0 is a secondary storage, but can't necessarily hold Vita games. You can store ROMs there for emulators and various other data files like music, that'd be the best use of the storage.

I believe you can manually change the Vita's app.db to launch games from uma0 like you can ur0, but it might have the same issues as running from ur0 (games might not save, or might not load at all).

Though uma0 would have proper write permissions, so saving would probably work fine...but someone would have to test it out. It's really just a better option to mount the sd2vita as ux0 regardless.

i try store my vpk @ uma0, but when i install VPK its extract to ux0, i dont know why? i still figure what happen n how do i install vpk to my sd adapter

not currently.

You can hold L while booting which will not load any plugins so it won't mount the sd2vita which will load your Sony memory card. You can play your vita games from it then. Adrenaline won't work though or any other plugins you have.

yes... just know the flow, if i want move game (many game) using USB cable, I must copy to Vita Memcard UX0 and move to SD2Vita UMA0
and then mount SD2Vita to UX0 and install it.
i wrong about move to uma0 and install it without mount sd2vita uma0 to ux0

From what's can make out

• You've copied vpks to your vita memory card by USB using VitaShell.
• You've then mounted sd2vita to uma0 and copied your games to sd2vita using VitaShell.
• You then mount sd2vita to ux0, and install your games.

(This is where I get confused)

• Do you then remount sd2vita to uma0?
• Does this result in you being able to load games from both your vita memory card and your sd2vita mounted at uma0 simultaneously?

Yes, please spell this all out. I don't see an option for mounting to uma0 when I have sd2vita active. It's not like with the PSTV where you can just mount the USB drive. It doesn't give me the option.

I was never able to decrypt his instructions with any success.

With AppManager Plus v3 having been released, we can now move games from ux0 to uma0, allowing us to install games to both

I've put all my ps1, psp, vita games to uxo, can I still put emulators on my 8gb vita memory card since emulators are on Adrenaline?
