I just bought a new 2ds xl and it's on 11.4 I saw on YouTube there is a way to downgrade but is it possible on the new 2ds

The only way to install CFW is to either

• Install a hardmod (Requires soldering skills or money to send it to a hardmodder)
• DSiWareHax Transfer (Requires an already hacked 3DS)

There is a method which requires a flashable DS flashcard and a magnet, however it has not been released yet.

If you don't own an already hacked 3DS/2ds and are useless with the soldering iron, for the time being at least.

Buy a cheap hackable 2DS, install CFW on it, use it to install CFW on your 2DS XL, sell the 2DS. Maybe make a profit.

11.3 does have a kernel exploit that allows you to install a CFW. This is all part of The Guide.
Once you have one system hacked, you can use that to preform a DSiware exploit and transfer the exploited game to the 2DSXL and hack that.
