I'm afraid to use the SysUpdater because it said something about bricking your 3DS, if it's running in sysNAND.
Nope, only AL9H. Will that work?Got boot9strap? If you do, you can do it right through System Settings.

Kinda worried to do it, because when I did A9LH, it got the CTRNAND error screen but fixed it with the 9.2 update. How risky is this?Well it's about time you upgraded. Boot9strap is WAAAAAAAAAYYYYY better than AL9H (which is outdated now) and supports the later versions of Luma (and possibly other CFWs). Use the link MrCatFace gave you and when you finish upgrading, proceed with the System Update in settings.

There has not been a single confirmed brick caused by B9S and the update process only takes a few minutes.Kinda worried to do it, because when I did A9LH, it got the CTRNAND error screen but fixed it with the 9.2 update. How risky is this?
I have one for 11.4.That being said, don't forget to make a sysnand backup before you do a system update.
Does running LumaUpdater, update you to B9S?There has not been a single confirmed brick caused by B9S and the update process only takes a few minutes.
I am going to agree with everyone and suggest updating to B9S first, then update your system through the system settings. You won't loose anything doing this and there's no risk caused by doing this.
No it does not. There is a section in 3ds.guide for updating the system into b9s.I have one for 11.4.

There have been zero bricks from an upgrade to boot9strap recorded. It takes so many safety precautions that a brick would have to be intentionally caused by modifying the files it gives you, and even then it would probably still work. Also, the error screen you got after you installed a9lh is completely normal, and if you made a nand backup like the guide said to do, you could have just restored that to fix the error.
No you won't lose anything and it's a relatively hassle free upgrade- and the risk is even less than A9LH installations. Can I update from A9LH, using the regular method or will I lose my installed CIA VC games? I know B9S is better but I don't want to make the same mistake as last time where when I downgraded to 2.1 and got the CTRNAND error screen, until I updated to 9.2.
