Hello, I apologize for any stupidity in writing this, as I had left the scene for about a month or two and now have no idea what I was doing.

Anyways, just yesterday I was playing on my o3ds fine running 11.4. I had safely updated to 11.4 using boot9 and luma. After a month of not using my 3ds, I hadn't updated boot9 to 2.0, and accidentally used luma updater in order to update Luma to 8.0 (from 7.0, 7.1, or one of the other 7.x versions i don't know exactly which.) After being prompted to reboot, my 3ds wont turn on. I left it to charge overnight as suggested in another post, but that didn't help. When looking into my sd card, all my boot9strap files, save for a few, were gone. I don't know if I should be reinstalling like normal, or if I should be trying something else. When I press the power button, the blue light flashes for a second and turns off. I tried to slowly lift my screen when pressing on, and I also tried removing and putting back in my microSD Adapter. Please help ASAP, I don't want to lose all of my games and saves. Attached is what my micro SD is looking like.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Nothing stupid happened there, you are not the only one! :-)

You just have to first update Boot9Strap and then Luma. To fix your issue, you just have to update B9S to the most current version by following the guide (link below):

Thanks for the speedy reply, friend! Will updating both of these keep all of my files and saves? That's my primary concern. And also, since my boot9strap folder is gone with a lot of my files, will updating still work? Thanks!

Well you said ASAP. ;-D

Everything should be as before. If you are worrying and just want to stay with your old B9S setup instead of updating it, you could also just backup the current boot.firm on your SD card (for example rename it to boot.firm.old) and then rename the boot.firm.bak to boot.firm

I recommend to just update following the guide (link provided in my first post). This should take about 5 minutes.

Thanks bud, I'll be trying this in a bit, and I'll let you know how it goes

So I finished section 1 of the updating but for some reason even now my o3ds wont boot. I tried loading into the luma chainloader; it isn't working :(

Nope, still wont boot.

Where do I put the files from your "Redownload 7.1" link? On the Root?
Just place the boot.firm from 7.1 into the root of your SD card

Thanks so much! This worked! Thanks to everyone in this post, my o3ds is now booting better than before, and I've found it to be running much faster! Seeing as this is a common issue, I'm going to be making a post detailing what you guys have said. All of you will be given credit. Thanks!
