Homebrew Mod to speed gather animation in MH?

It drives me crazy. It's just so slow. It almost makes me not want to gather any materials in Monster Hunter. Is there a mod that exists or anything to increase the speed of the animation? Or am I going to have to start learning modding for myself?

Nothing yet, and animation modding is extremely difficult, especially in a have where it hasn't been figured out yet.

I dunno why a cheat couldn't be created that did this. There was one for Portable 3rd back in the day.
