You don't need cfw to play out of region carts, just homebrewlauncher access which can be attained through a exploitable game like cubic ninja or oot with a power save.I don't feel like getting a jp 3ds to play some games
This should help: https://gbatemp.net/threads/list-of-hardmod-installers-by-region.414224/Well that's unfortunate. Guess I'll just find someone who can hardmod my system for me since I do not trust myself to do it correctly.
But in 11.4 and 11.5 there is no primary entry point (at least I think)You don't need cfw to play out of region carts, just homebrewlauncher access which can be attained through a exploitable game like cubic ninja or oot with a power save.
Yes there is, at least for N3DS. See https://3ds.guide/homebrew-launcher-(alternatives)But in 11.4 and 11.5 there is no primary entry point (at least I think)
I was talking about free entry point (I know that you can buy game for entry point)Yes there is, at least for N3DS. See https://3ds.guide/homebrew-launcher-(alternatives)
There is also no current kernel exploits on either 11.4 or 11.5, which is why dsiwarehax, the ntrboothax or a hardmod is needed for full CFWI was talking about free entry point (I know that you can buy game for entry point)
Are the backup games your wanting like saves to games you bought on the system? You would need a working primary entry point, which there are a few but cost to get. And use JK's save manager .3dsx to load the saves. If you are talking of games from say freeshop you need to get cfw with needs the dsiwarehax or hardmod to get.I take it 2DS XL is 11.4? Can you play backup games on it?
You used the wrong word then. Primary means you only need one thing for it (eg Cubic Ninja, Freaky Forms).I was talking about free entry point (I know that you can buy game for entry point)
Why?You used the wrong word then. Primary means you only need one thing for it (eg Cubic Ninja, Freaky Forms).
SoundHax only needs one thing also. It's a primary entry point too. Non-primary entrypoints are like OoThax or Steelhax, that require something else to be installed (To already have homebrew on another console or a PowerSaves in the case of OoThax, to already have homebrew on the range console in the case of Steelhax)Why?
Soundhax is primary entry point and it is free. You don't need a cartridge and it is still primary entry point.
But that is not what am I talking about. "Why?" was for this:SoundHax only needs one thing also. It's a primary entry point too. You said "primary" when you meant "free". You said there were no primary entrypoints for 11.4 and 11.5, but there are.But that is not what am I talking about. "Why?" was for this:
