So recently, my Old 3DS updated to 11.4, the version where ctr-httpwn no longer works. I didn't realize that it patched that program so I wanted to downgrade back to 11.3. (because the latest update for Smash 3DS has been released and I'm forced to update, but when I access eShop it wants me to update before I can access it) I have Hourglass9 as a program but I didn't have a backup sysNAND to reboot into 11.3.So I decided to be drastic and reboot my 3DS with a file that would normally only be used if my 3DS bricks, which is this:

The nand.bin file.

Now this method technically worked...

As my 3DS downgraded to ver. 11.2, which was before I hacked my 3DS fully. However...

My hombrew apps have been rendered useless. Including games that I downloaded while in ver 11.4. Things I have tried already was changing the payload back to 11.2 OLD 3DS, and using Soundhax again. None have worked and Soundhax gives me an error. I can still boot GodMode at the start up of my 3DS and also Luma (only the one that activates when select is pressed with power)

Now my question is: is there anything I can do to restore my 3DS into it's formal Homebrew glory without deleting those software? I want to stay at version 11.2

Thank you and appreciate the help.

You need to re-install the tickets. That's why they have grey X iirc. Before restoring your NAND you should've backed them up :vv

Edit: about the smash update you could of got it from a certain ISO site and install without needing to downgrade?

So there's no other way? Ah, man I'm stupid. Okay, so how do I reinstall them then. I don't know where to start. And thank you for replying.

Edit: Also I did not know about that Smash Update stuff. I'll take not of that thanks.

Well, for the games you could use Tikdevil to get them back on the home menu then use TikSweep. I'd advice to inject FBI into H&S app to install stuff with. Then for the homebrew, either go into the FBI db and get it from there the one had or manually download and re-install :)

Okay, I'll try that. Thank you so much! But because I'm a noob at all this hacking stuff, uh, what is the H and S app and does db mean database? (Sorry about that )

You wasted your time, you can update to 11.5 without issues. Have you missed the billion and one "I have cfw can I update to 11.5?" Threads?

You already got your answer but just wanted to point out for future thread viewers that if you had followed https://3ds.guide/9.2.0-ctrtransfer but substituting the 11.2 CTR transfer file for the 9.2 one you wouldn't have lost anything.
I was a bit confused as well by the ctrtransfer file in the directory, but it looks like he just restored an old NAND backup he had.
